Mo... i agree with you that the Springsteen lyrics rock. but for me, it's sort of like listening to neil young sing..... kick ass lyrics, should have found someone else to deliver the tune. cold pizza.... Mmmmmmmmmm i miss pizza. good morning everyone. i need to go do fun stuffs with other peeps, and hang out some time too...be social. quit building and managing. i'm not sure we frequent the same establishments, but everyone needs a straight man to make them look better, and i'm up for the challenge of learning new things and experiencing new adventures... even shocking ones (as a bystander LOL). i hope i am all caught up now.

To me he sings with more heart than anyone else. And I've been in stadiums and arenas full of other people who all agreed. No kidding, his concerts are like religious experiences. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7p1p66v8k8&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAvolRT3sX4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgbAtASU6D4&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwNFCi4Trtwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmLt6kcZ72Q

From: Maureen Boccaccio LOVE Bruce, Kaimi. Thanks!! And my thanks to Pep for posting the lyrics, which inspired me to go find my "Born in the USA" CD! You can always be counted on to have perfect taste. edited to add: That was the summer. I saw the Born in the USA concert at Kemper Arena in Kansas City. It was all my friends and I - male and female - could talk about for weeks.

Well I found my Fiancee's Ferret a home!!! I can't keep her since I dont have the spare time required, so my sister said she'd take Rio. My brother-in-law used to have one a few years ago, so he'll know how to care for it. My 4 yr old Niece keeps calling it a beaver & wants to carry it around & push it around in her doll's stroller. My 1 yr old nephew just laughs & makes that "cant speak yet but I'll chatter anyhow" noise. LOL! Ever see a ferret run away from TOO MUCH attention???

Eons ago saw Springstein live- so close I could count the eyelets in his brown leather work boots. My ears rang for days and it was awesome. I agree with Pep- leave politicking to the politicians then I only have to ignore one set of fools (putting ALL politicians in that basket regardless of party affiliation - is their an Anarchist party I can sign up with? This current crop needs to be scrapped )

"Born in the USA" was a rather lame album overall. "Darkness on the Edge of Town" was by far his best although "Born to Run" and "The River" have strong moments. By the time he did "Nebraska" and "Born in the USA", he was rich enough he thought he ought to tell everyone else what they should do with their money.

I'm one of those people who will listen to a song and not have a clue who's singing it...no matter how popular the song is. So yeah,I like springstein's music...I just didn't know it was him till today lol.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually regretting pigging out on chocolate lol.

From: Claire Silverspar I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually regretting pigging out on chocolate lol. i feel your pain. well, not now. but anytime i eat chocolate i feel your pain. i almost don't even like the smell of it anymore.... for i know a tummy ache is not far behind. however, chocolate ice cream and chocolate pudding don't hurt me, when consumed in moderation that is. i hope you feel better fast!

From: Maureen Boccaccio Cold pizza for breakfast! Me too! Cheers! *raises a slice to Mo* Hooray for Bruce, I love "I'm On Fire," Pep; thanks for reminding me of that song. Ugh for meal planning and shopping lists. I'm challenging myself to start recycling ingredients (e.g. actually using the roast chix bones for soups n stuff) because a) food is expensive and b) I enjoy it. Isn't it sad that a chicken used to feed a family of four, with leftovers? No wonder we're a nation of lard-butts.
