Claire's Boots

got tired of trying to find a good backdrop. this seemed 60's enough. also, didn't get the right pose to show off the boots, but they match the dress perfectly.

I didn't purchase a CD player or a DVD player 'til waaaay after each of those items had been out for a while. Just never quite...got around to it. :o

HEH! I didnt have a stereo with a CD Player or buy a CD till about 1993.

I remember not too long ago, being laughed at for calling it a "record store".

I find it funny tho, that by the time the 'new' technology is affordable by all and considered an everyday thing, its usually on its way out.

My Cell phone doesnt text or download/play music or show pics. It just makes phone calls. And thats all I need it to do! And thats pushing it!!

If I wanna watch movies, I'll pop an SD Card into my PDA & watch 'em. LOL! When I worked at the restaurant (which I have yet to eat at), a waitress came back & said "Why are you listening to Star Wars???" I said "I'm watching it, not listening". She was totally TOTALLY amazed that you can play movies on things like that.

Did I ever mention I hated working at a restaurant??? Not so much the job, but the intelligence of the people I had to deal with.

I'm not a big fan of "all-in-one" devices. Usually the stuff you wanna do eats up the battery life and you usually dont use half the stuff anyways. I have yet to see people listening/watching to MP3's /movies on their phone. Good way to kill the battery fast!!!

/me tucks Thread into bed.. good night Thread... Sweet dreams to those bedding down and Pleasant day to those arising. Be well... /me fades of to sleep.

Had a really great SL today- made a dress in a halloween theme- it's in the store if any one wants to see it and a bunch of halloweenie stuff to play with-

Went to a really cool 80's rock and country club. Spent time with those special to me that I love so well. Saw a little bit of Burning Life - what could be a better day? Bed now... goodnight

Hey there -

I went to the SLU Forum Night at the PMG Cafe (but just tonight, it was held at Club Baby Seals), where the theme was "Celtic" - really great music, and lots of fun meeting people that I've just seen in the forums.

Oh, and did I mention that lots of the men there were in KILTS???? :D /me smiles. (Our own Jerboa being one in attendance...)

(sadly, most guys had already discovered the apparent need for "glitch pants" and had [FIXED] that "problem"... :( :p)

Anyway, for those that don't know, it's every Tuesday night, from 6-8 pm SLT.

Had the darndest time tonight with my headphones. STATIC like you would not believe. The headphones are the Logitech ClearChat Pro. They were perfectly fine this morning...Any ideas? (Oh, and I tested my old Logitech ones and they worked fine.)

OK. It's past my bedtime...goodnight threadies. Or good morning, as the case may be! :)

FD you come up with the most original stuff - very cool and effective.

Ooh Maureen, I hope you get the head phone problem solved. That sounds really annoying. Could it be a loose wire?

Here's a calendar I like a lot:

I just wish more of my stuff would sell and be noticed sometimes. I love making stuff but
I do wish more people were into what I did yet there probably lot of people here in same boat.
Although a lot of my content friends make great things yet maybe on good month sale maybe 10 creations but only two of them well known and make any money doing it.

Good morning, threadies!

Wow, FD...the seat cover looks comfy :p, and the building has a great design. I like the arches, and the black/white checkerboard floor.

But please tell me you have a paper towel dispenser in there instead of / in addition to those infernal blow dryer thingies. :p

I have toilet paper but I need to install it's holder waiting for my friend to install the scripted stalls doors first that open and shut when touched.
I hadn't thought about hand dryers...I had thought about hand drawn terry cloth towels though because I like drawing fabrics..
But that would fun idea too.
Everything is white with some stone but I like to do some other hand drawn textures.
Issue with white unless the light is on during other times of day like sunset or sunrise the floor and arches turn sort of pink.
Has anyone made a Mummy skin in sl?
I am starting making Mummy skinny for guy including bandage wrapped privates but been distracted with fixing up things making signs, etc.

Thanks. I did wear it for most of the time. For the whole first hour where I was taking pictures, editing, uploading and then attaching names (people kept leaving :(). When I actually started paying attention I spent most of the time in the bikini, though I did have that pink outfit on for a little bit also.

The pink one is the one I was in for the least amount of time. Maybe 5 to 15 minutes at most (closer to 5 than 15).

The bikini I got into out of the huge dark green outfit, then switched to the pink one, and then got back into the bikini. Wore that one, the bikini, for a good 15 to 45 minutes (closer to 45 than 15).

The first thing I did last night when I logged in was make my own celtic outfit. Assuming it was horrible, I bought four outfits. The first one would have worked. Lower quality than the dark green one I bought, but it was actually pretty nice. Especially for 25L. To bad I spent the first hour taking pictures. Should have worked in my two other Celtic outfits.

Lovely music last night. For the most part. heh
