You know, earlier today I went and googled Windsor to learn more about the place:

Caesar's! I see an excursion in my future. *Goes to see how far a drive it is to Windsor from her house.

I bet you they are the ones that really make those pretty flower pictures.

LOL

Hmmmm, now that's gotten me thinking. Maybe there are some subliminal messages implanted in those flower pics (implanted...heh..) that are telling us to do stuff. You know...evilly stuff.

Damien's got like...minions or something. I think they come around and clean occasionally.

Yeah, have your people call my people. Course they clean the dungeon like Lily Munster dusts her house.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I hope your workday moves swiftly for you, Lexxi, and that you're able to play in SL at the end of it.

And how's your arm/elbow/wrist/hand?

Thanks everyone. arm/elbow/wrist/hand are good. It was as I thought, though I can't describe things correctly. Strained something or other. Better after a day or so.

Oh, I was responding to the "voting off of the thread" by saying that I was voted off of SL because I had just crashed.

LOL...Dusting with the vacuum cleaner working in reverse!!! Oh oh...guess I'm in trouble then. :p Well, if the dust bunnies are prims, I'll just return them. And if they are particles, well, I'll just turn them off so I don't see them. :D

Thanks Brenda it was kind of bothering me that I haven't been keeping up with the housekeeping. Now I realize how extemely neat and tidy this place really is.

Re the disgusting house - omg the pictures!!! - I want to be on record as saying that yesterday I scrubbed my bathroom & vacuumed the floors- today I cleaned my closet, threw out old papers mopped floors and changed bed sheets- yes i am an SL junkie- but I still clean from time to time- at least when the teeny dog gets lost under the papers... Oh! I even bathed the dog! I feel so accomplished now :D
Oops. No, I really am a lazy housekeeper.

Hey Lil, I think they have Casinos in Windsor. Just Sayin......
A very large one - that is where the user conference is and where I will be staying. I'm not much of a gambler, but I do like to play a bit on the poker machines. I'll give you a review of the place later this week.

Good morning all! Had a fun weekend, but it was one of those where I'm actually happy that the week is starting so I can get back into a normal routine.

I wish I could get the dirty house pictures to come up, but it refuses to connect. I had guests yesterday of the extremely obnoxious and judgmental sort (not by choice, trust me), so I spent Saturday cleaning the house like I was trying to hide a crime scene from the CSI guys. It sparkles! Well, it sparkled until after they left yesterday and I was too bushed to do the dishes, so the sink is full. :p

I really better get to work here. Gotta pay the bills!

LOL on the cleaning frenzy. Be thankful you did NOT see those pics, Trout. SCARY.

Glad you had a good weekend - it's always better to start the work week after a really nice weekend. Good frame of mind and all...

Mornin' thread!

Wow, what a weekend.

So I sign on on Friday evening an immediately get a notice on the Second Life Children group. There seems to be an impromptu "Talk Like A Pirate" party going on at I-Worls Island, an some of the kids are DJin'. Given the history 'tween SL kids and Lindens, this I hadda go an see.

It was a purty full party, an I'd say 1/3 of the crowd was Lindens, 1/3 was kids, an 1/3 was other random residents (an most of which were mentor types). As th' evening wore down, Kate Linden started to shoot off some fireworks.

Yes, you heard the magic word. I asked if she might want a few shot off, an rushed back to Livingtree to get some of my rig. I provided the big booms for Everest Piek's set. Here's a piccie or two:

That's Sejong Linden in the ball cap and rolled up pants, an Kate Linden in the pirate gear. You can spot me dancin' away in this one, too.

It's not one of my shows 'til you can't see the screen:

Most of the rest of the weekend was spent on the virtual playa, gettin stuff ready for Burnin' Life. I had a bajillion textures an stuff to do. Finally, late Sunday I could finally call it done. I still need to arrange for entertainment and stuff, an there might be one or two prims that'll get rezzed in a moment of inspiration, but it's definitely ready for visitors.

Unfortunately, I can't yet show it to ya. We're not s'pose to show much 'til the event opens on the 27th. So here's a small, small teaser or me at the site, bundled up against the dust on the playa.

Hope everybuggy else had fun weekends!

Mari
