Good morning threadies, a very very early morning it is. 3:00 am for me -- dumping coffee into my system so I'll be at least half alert when I leave for the airport in a bit. Will be in Windsor, Canada all week for a vendor user conference. Might be fun, might be boring - but it is something different in the routine and comes at a good time since I have spent the last week or two pretty pissed at my boss and the entire management stream above him.


That pizza looked really yummy last night before bed -- looks disgusting now. I can never deal with food for at least an hour or two after getting up.


@Amara - congrats on getting all the computer issues resolved

@Tod - glad you have found something you find enjoyable (excluding the driving/mileage/gas part)

@Lexxi - hopefully the work day will pass quickly and you'll get to come play

Glad the job is going well - sorry about the mileage thing, esp. with gas prices these days.

Wow GPS would come in handy for you. But it's lucky that your laptop's reception in the car is good, so you can get to MS Streets/Maps or Google Maps or something.

And btw....I love Google Earth. That is so cool, being able to cam in on my neighborhood. Or someone else's. (even if the images are out of date)

Hope your flight to Windsor goes/went well! The conference is in an interesting place, and there might be cool stuff to tour around and look at in your free time. And good that you're able to get the heck out of Dodge, removing yourself from some sources of work stress (or before you knock them off ).

But in RL, you are correct. Dust collectors. And as lovely as those panels are, I'd keep tripping over them, too.
