I just got my vacation pics uploaded to my on line album. This is my 18 month old grandson with one of his Auntie's dogs. (He's a really really patient dog.)

Oh, that is such a cute dog. Soooo patient. And a great pic, Kaimi. :)

OMG, Mo! As I finish my tiny, but nutritious lunch and am gazing about longingly for something, ANYTHING more to eat, you tantalize me with tales of gourmet appetizers and assorted desserts! And all we got for breakfast was a bagel and coffee... Torture, I tell you, torture!

Hey but I got everything I needed to do done for Monday, which is estimated tax payment time! Not bad, fitting two weeks of work into 3 days.. think they'll figure out how little I really do? :p

/me waves a belated hi to all the Threadies.

Glad you were able to power through the two weeks of work so quickly!!! That's efficiency for you. :)

I just stopped back in the office to get some stuff, and am headed back...to collect all the leftovers!!! (not all for me, mind you :p; various peeps will bring some home)

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I heard about how certain business decided its good for efficiency if they allow their employees take naps but I assume they also work them 12 hours a day/7 days a week or more.

I love this idea. When I spent time in France, my host father would come home every afternoon and take a nap for a few hours, then head back to work. It was awesome.

My weekend starts early this week! :)

Our office is hosting a farewell reception in about an hour - for a colleague leaving us for the Big Apple. (*shakes fist*)

I've been shown the food portion of the menu:

Tahini humus and baba ghanoush with colorful vegetables and herbed pita wedges

Roasted vegetable brochettes with dijon glaze

Thai Spring Rolls - delicate wonton wraps filled with shrimp and seasoned vegetables, offered with plum sauce

Empanadas baked with seasonal vegetables and cilantro

White pizza slices topped with basil and a trio of cheeses

Petite lamb and fennel brochettes brushed with rosemary olive oil

Chocolate-dipped strawberries and apricots

Assorted miniature pastries and desserts

Yes, there will be wine/beer/soft drinks/water

I will think of you....:D

I want to work where YOU work.

Note to would-be purchasers of Spore. Go out and buy the box. It's taken over an hour to download via cable.

/me taps her fingers impatiently.

Quite often older is better -- sort of like a fine wine or an aged cheese, I get more robust, with a more enticing aroma and flavor as I age.
Me too. And my memory's just as good as ever - it's just a lot shorter than it used to be.

From: LittleMe Jewell
That is so precious. I remember when my son, around age one, would sleep on top of our cat and I was always so surprised that the cat never seemed to mind.
One of my other grandsons used to throw himself on the family cat. That the cat never fought back was really amazing - although he did try to avoid the kid when possible.

I want to get Spore in the worst way. Why oh why did I give my husband that lecture on living within our means the other day?

Thanks but I was hoping for something about how cute the kid is. :p

I keep reading about how much more productive people are if they take a nap around noon.

OK..here's an fyi.

The OpenLife viewer that's the "Kirsten" or "Kristen" viewer? Can be used in SL too.

YOU CANNOT BELIEVE HOW LOW-LAG IT IS, and how quickly stuff rezzes.

/me does a incredibly high energy happy dance
I downloaded it and I'm giving it a try. One of my biggest reasons for not ever using the newer viewers was performance, so we'll see how this one does.
