Re tats... reently took up the challenge. I am trying for minimalist with out being invisible- it ain't easy! Got cute little teeny one that says forever in kanji - but I mean it is teeny! Needs to be bgger.. then- did another that is bigger and it turned out HUGE when I uploaded it... so..downsized - looked perfect- i thought - got in up close and the durn thing was all pixelated. Came to the conclusion I am going to hand make them on paper, scan them, place them and upload them. Bett control - will let u guys know. But I did make one little one for the lower back that I think will work out. It is small and dainty and only on lower back. I put it on four layers- shirt, undershirt, pant and underpant- why? Because on pants it comes very low and on shirt a little higher- more options.

Re FD- OMG :) ROFL - "Thanks for visiting my underwear for those who did." :p

And- BTW - good morning threadies :) - /me waves.

Amara, thanks for the multi layered tatt. I agree; sometimes it's good to have the tatt higher on your back/tummy, and other times..., the lower version is better. :)

Sounds like it was a great day, Lil. Any leftovers?
We had about 45 people thruout the day, but everyone actually ate a bit light this year. I have almost an entire turkey left, tons and tons of homemade salsa that someone brought, a few misc side dishes, and some cheesecake :) :)

Oh, and about 1 1/2 cases of beer.

It is always a blast -- the one time a year that we actually get to see some folks.

I have only a couple of tats that I wear because, to me, almost all of them are just way too big. A rose or heart on my hip or rear or breast should not be visible from across the freakin room. I take the RL approach on this one -- if you are going to see a tat on my breast, then you should have to be cammed in pretty close to see it - as if you were actually standing close by.

Howdy folks, greetings from hurricane country.

After 36 hot muggy hours with no power things are looking up here. I have a fence to rebuild and a literal ton of tree debris to clean up, but no major problems. I consider myself extremely lucky. Lots of folks along the Texas coast will find major devestation when they are allowed to return home. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

If I could ask one favor. I'm on a borrowed laptop and don't have access to SL. If someone inworld could IM Tania Taiyou and tell her "Tex says all is well", I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tex

I love hearing songs I know in other languages.

Haven't seen it, but I'm betting there are some serious tatts displayed. :p

Exactly. Like HUGE tats. Good show, too.

not to mention the mall again.... but we do have a tat artist who has some lovely ones there and at her main store.... underwear/shirt/jacket layers and they are all really nice for ladies and menfolk. lots of cats, some kanji, some SW, some themed, etc. etc. etc. i got this great bw cat one for my upper back, and i don't even like tats in general. go see! i can't remember the name of the store, but if you want me to i can go inworld and get it and post it here. but you'll have to ask ~ so i don't break any rules. LOL
