I was just telling Joseph yesterday that it was less that 2 months 'til Halloween, and that I was beginning to look at all my Halloween decorations! And earlier this week I put up a grove of autumnal maple trees on our land.  So...SL Halloween...is it a big deal? (/me dearly hopes so) _____________________

So...SL Halloween...is it a big deal? (/me dearly hopes so) Hell yes. I wasn't in the Cartel last halloween, but I had just started SL. definitely a big deal. Loads of sims open up specially for Halloween, special hunts, Costumes.... Hey! Are we having a party this year? the pics from last year look fun. 2 months.....hmmm....Seems ages, but its gonna fly by lol _____________________
 I'll miss this damn place.I'll be over at SCII after the end has come. |

Thanks maureen! that was the one. Hmm - not much help there, but I am wearing a new pair of shoes. I don't think there's an AO in them, but if there is, it could be competing with my AO. I hadn't thought of that. I'll change shoes the next time I log on. lol - my biggest mystery last night was the mysterios white mist that appeared in my skybox. It looked like the new Ruth mist, but I was the only one there and i was fully rezzed, plus, it was about 5x bigger. I tried finding a prim in there, thinking there must be a particle emitter or something, tried checking all the prims on the parcel, tried clicking on it, walking through it...nothing. Then it occurred to me that I had rezzed the skybox at 250m on a clear day, and yesterday was cloudy. lol. Foiled by a cloud. Up went the skybox another 100m and the problem is solved. LOL, Trout. Your story reminds me of when someone gave me an object that, when worn or rezzed, started a HUGE rainstorm. If I wore the object, the rainstorm followed me around as if I was Joe Btfsplk. If I rezzed it, it stayed put on the land. However, um, I did not know at the time how LARGE a rainstorm would result, nor did I realize, heh, that it would also rain inside the house. And then, of course, I could not quickly locate the incredibly small, almost invisible prim to stop the torrential downpour. The poor neighbors... _____________________

LOL, Trout. Your story reminds me of when someone gave me an object that, when worn or rezzed, started a HUGE rainstorm. If I wore the object, the rainstorm followed me around as if I was Joe Btfsplk. If I rezzed it, it stayed put on the land. However, um, I did not know at the time how LARGE a rainstorm would result, nor did I realize, heh, that it would also rain inside the house. And then, of course, I could not quickly locate the incredibly small, almost invisible prim to stop the torrential downpour. The poor neighbors... That's funny. Well, it was one of those face palm moments when you realize that the answer you have been searching for was so incredibly simple and right in front of your face that you feel like an idiot. Luckily I didn't have much in the way of furnishings out, so moving the Trout Recreant Laboratory of Doom up 100 meters wasn't too difficult, and once it was reset, I took the time to decorate a little so it doesn't look so much like a warehouse with a workbench any more. _____________________

Right now, I have the music from th' Dr. Horrible soundtrack stuck in my mind  An have I said g'mornin yet? No? Well then... G'mornin! All the talk of moths lately made me think of th' moth temple in Iris, so I stopped back by. No news on my JIRA ticket on gettin the old moth lamps back -- but Prokofy Neva has been workin on his land next to the temple, and has put in one of those old lamps.  He also has the old moth wing attachment, too, so I got a copy of it while I could. Mari "The hammer is my penis" - Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer Dr. Horrible is a must see for any Whedon and company fan. *perks* Moth temple? This I have to find. |

Hey guys- beats me why but I was able to log in as the real me now - I stopped by my house having collected my mom from the hospital where she was on holiday this last week. She is fine, just a minor surgical procedure but they kept her a week. Anyyhoo- Amar can log into the forums but I am still suspended from SL until PayPal gets its act together which I hope will be soon .... Ann- Awesome little goat person Damien I don't think I had seen that one before - you are just awesome .OK_ back to work and hope I can log back in as me when I get there. And the leader of the colony came up to Dr McCoy and was like, "We're going to have to put you to work some other way; as a doctor you're useless because we don't need doctors", and Bones was like "Really? Maybe you'd like to see how quickly I can put you in a hospital?" He then proceeded to beat up the colony leader. Because Dr McCoy was a BAD@$$! YES!!!!! _____________________
