QFT !!!

Though we all joke around about them and some folks just don't seem to "get it", they really are a very productive contribution in my mind (and I have not even gotten one yet).

Thanks, and thanks to Love for saying the same thing. I really enjoy doing them. I feel really happy that people enjoy them, but they aren't like something that was built in SL - I could do them completely independent of SL. I guess by productive, I meant that I'm actually creating something that other people like - an object that they would be proud to show in their SL homes or businesses, or something that is as good as what people would be willing to buy. I see things that others are building and they amaze me. I feel like I'm a pretty creative guy, but I've been hampered by my lack of skills, and strangely enough, a sort of fear of building. It's like I look at the building windows and just shut down.

When I actually sat down and applied myself, I was surprised at how easily it came together and how much fun I had. I just need practice and experience and I'll get better at it.

/me decides to go shopping and drop lots more money onto other fabulous creators to make up for it.

Is this one of those pushing the limits moments? :)

Newp, just a little silliness on this fine Friday. :p

The spoons are everywhere, though!

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

And the Friday Funnies Feature (what? it's not a feature? well it is now)

I got this from my wife today. If you find it sexiest ... ptthhuubbbb :p
=============================================

Q:
How many women with PMS does it take to change a light Bulb?

Woman's Answer:
One!

ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this House knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out.

And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS!

But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!!

IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL!!

I'm sorry. What was the question?

Fine, we're telling jokes in the thread now. OK.

A man who owns a jewelry store sees an old geezer walk into the store with a bubbly twenty-something on his arm. The man states that he would like to buy a diamond necklace for his young friend. They look at the ones in the case, but the old fogey insists that something "really nice" is what he had in mind for the lady.

The couple settles ona beautiful $10,000 diamond necklace. The old coot writes a check, hands it to the merchant, and says "I know you'll want to see this clear, so take the check, and I'll come back on Monday for the necklace." The merchant happily agrees.

Monday comes, and the old goat returns, sans the young woman, to the store. The merchant says, "I'm sorry, but that check you wrote didn't clear the bank."

The old guys smiles and says, "Oh, that's alright, I knew it wouldn't. So ... would you like to hear about my weekend?"

Oh - and I think I had a breakthrough - As a lot of you know, I've avoided building because I just didn't think I could do it. Well, I was inspired by an AM Radio piece - a microscope that is absolutely beautiful, but which I can't display because it has about a zillion prims and I'm trying to make stuff fit on a 1024. I figured I could do it in under 15 prims and I actually sat down and did it! I'm stunned. The texturing isn't done, but the object itself actually turned out exactly like I wanted it to, and under my prim budget!

Yay me! I built something worthwhile, instead of the usual ugly, laughable crap. I might actually turn out to be a productive member of the community after all.

OK - enough bragging. I bet 90% of you would laugh at it, but considering my earlier attempts, I'm proud of it.

I may look back at some of my earliest builds with some disdain today, but I can still recognize that it's a time when my SL experience changed. So congrats to you!

I see from an IM (picked up via. email) that MONO is being rolled out to all the regions today. Is this true? WTF is wrong with Linden Lab, rolling out a major change on a Friday?

I noticed a big display at the hair fair about "bandanna day" next weekend. I'm guessing everyone's to wear a bandanna in support of this fund raiser?

Is everyone planning on wearing one of these items? I got a pretty pink one.

Take an uncooked bratwurst, pop it in the microwave and watch it swell up. Right before it pops open .... that's me in saran wrap
/me laughs

No wait ... picture Vin Diesel with a flat top haircut. Yeah, that's what I look like. Only a little more rugged looking. Sure. Yeah, we'll go with that.
