No matter how Yosef is presented, nor what he is wrapped in, that man will never be considered as "leftovers". Few of you gents would ever be described as such for my meals.... um, I mean, in my discussions.
:D ;)

Thank you, my Venus. You are the first woman I danced with at the hangout. You are the reason I first posted anything more than quick technical question here. You will always have a place in my heart and a piece of my soul.

Even if we are leftovers, I feel you have plenty to chose from, each spiced differently to find the right taste for tongue.

Bon appétit ;)

I would love some. Thanks for offering. You will make a wonderful tray.
BTW, is it OK to mix the wasibi and soy souce in a nude tray's belly button? It's just one of those etiquet things I never really understood.

Odd - I was also able to copy/paste it and get there, but every time I attempted to simply click on it, I got that damn permission error.

And since I am an innocent lady, I refuse to comment on the picture itself

/me plucks her eyeballs off the floor.

The calendar is done! I hope everyone loves it as much as I do - all the ladies are gorgeous and the pictures are stunning.

As agreed, it's been hung in the Cartel Hangout by HeiferInternational Xue, my charity alt. I've set it for sale for L$100, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Heifer International. Check out www.heifer.org for more info on this great organization.

Thanks to everyone who helped out: the photographers, the blurb writers, the testers, and of course the ladies themselves.

It's hung on the far brick wall of the Hangout, near the wood stove.

Contact Maureen Boccaccio for any problems with the book itself; she has a copy/transfer version in case of emergency. I'll be out of town till Tuesday Sept 2.

Love to all and have a great weekend!

Oryx

Oryx,

I haven't been inworld to see it yet, but a big thanks for all your work on this. /me applauds wildly.

Also, a word about Heifer, I've been supporting this charity for several years, and IMO, their concept is one of the best around. They don't give food, they give the cow, or the lamb, or the goats... providing people with sustainable means to improve their lives. It's really a worthy organization.

Great job, everyone! :)

I will be in the mountains on vacation for this one.

If I am remembering correctly, you do a *few* throughout the rest of the year?

WhooooooHooooooo! Can I get an Amen for Friday?

Man, it was a long week. But I can finally relax a little and enjoy a three-day weekend. i don't even have anything planned. Tons of chores and some heavy lifting that needs to be done, but I'm glad to do it just so i don't have to be at my desk. I'll have some time to play.

Oh - and I think I had a breakthrough - As a lot of you know, I've avoided building because I just didn't think I could do it. Well, I was inspired by an AM Radio piece - a microscope that is absolutely beautiful, but which I can't display because it has about a zillion prims and I'm trying to make stuff fit on a 1024. I figured I could do it in under 15 prims and I actually sat down and did it! I'm stunned. The texturing isn't done, but the object itself actually turned out exactly like I wanted it to, and under my prim budget!

Yay me! I built something worthwhile, instead of the usual ugly, laughable crap. I might actually turn out to be a productive member of the community after all.

OK - enough bragging. I bet 90% of you would laugh at it, but considering my earlier attempts, I'm proud of it.

Ya, I'll prob'ly break em out a time or two in the Autumn: I did once last year for the Harvest festival. Also, I did New Year's Eve fireworks in Winterland. I am also "hireable" for shows, so who knows what else might come up.

If nothing else, you should be proud of your Trout Ratings. Hint hint. They have contributed greatly to many a person's overall satisfaction with SL. If that's not productive, I don't know what is.

QFT !!!

Though we all joke around about them and some folks just don't seem to "get it", they really are a very productive contribution in my mind (and I have not even gotten one yet).

lol - you and Rainy Latte are on my list. I promise I'll get to them. I've been promising her for a while. One of the reasons I'm so happy the weekend is here is that the last couple weeks have been miserable and truly depressing in RL. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and actually starting to feel like my old self again. It's been tough to do Trout ratings or even try to make a joke here and there. Life is up and down - I didn't know it was going to be quite as down as it has been, but that means it owes me a few really nice peaks to balance out the valleys. I can't wait!

Not whining or looking for sympathy or anything - like I said, things have taken a turn for the positive and in a couple months, I'll be totally back on track. Hell, in a week or two I'll be 90% back on track. The future is looking pretty good.

I have to rate Rainy first, but I'll try to do both of them this evening.
