Now I know I dip into the forums only sporadically but it seems to me that a number of threads end up hijacked to complain about this Katt Linden, who is apparently the Antichrist incarnate.

Can someone A) share the FACTS with the rest of the group instead of taking vague potshots to discredit her, whoever she is and B) leave this sort of thing out of THIS thread?

Katt Linden is the comunications officer with SL. She has been editing stuff in threads, removing urls, names, and leaving comments (at times). One of the comments was left on one of Nina's posts.

Mostly the url like editing seems to be in one thread (/347/7e/277342/1.html), though the person is turning up in other threads.

An example of one of the comments left on a post: "Reason: Is this a question? I notice this is your first ever post in the Forums. -- Katt Linden "

She's the Communications Manager for LL right now, and handles stuff like the blog and forums and stuff. A lot of disagreement with her and residents cropped up during the SL5B kerfluffle, particularly in the blog comments of the time. She also lost her temper during some of this, leading to the "full stop" post on the comments on one of those.

Currently, a lot of people are upset at her censorship of posts on the forums, particularly in the Burning Life threads (I believe there was some in tech tips, too) as well as some issues with the forum rules thread (the forums and inworld ban linkage and other issues, as well as people feeling that they are not being heard, etc.).

I think that's the basics. I'm sure others could fill in more, but I was just trying to provide an fairly unbiased thumbnail.

Good morning dear friends

So, I'm going to pull a Rioko (shall we now call it that?), or shall I just say Goodbye and Thanks For All The Fish?

I've decided to take a break from SL for a while. Going to attend to my RL for a change since I have some people in it which matter to me (which includes mostly myself), that I would like to focus a bit more on than I have been.

Still will be in now and then, to attend events which have special significance, so I won't be completely AWOL, but for the most part, I'm a goner for now.

/me skips off merrily, but leaves a trail of pie and cookie crumbs so I can find my way back...

I'm afraid I don't know the name of the flower.

This one is also from the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. If you like plants/flowers and ever go to San Francisco add this place to your "must see" list.

I think it's a kind of Bromeliad... beautiful amazingly diverse flowers. And i second that on the Conservatory, wonderful place!
