The question just came up elsewhere re flirting.

What constitutes flirting in your mind?

I thought of it as a possibility – a thing offered that is not completely assured- whereupon I was told no- even if previously fulfilled, the offer is still flirtation. This brings also to mind, the “promise” or “offer” must be somewhat vague- not definitive or it crosses the line from flirtation to seduction.

Since Yosef, the recognized king of the slick seduction, is again amongst us- I ask, What is your take on this?

And- at what point do you realize- you left flirtation in the dust and now you are just establishing the when…

Flirting, to me, is simplely a words ment to make the recipient feel good about themselves. It does not need to be sexual in nature. A compliment given for no reason, for example.

I admire Trout's ability to sort through all those pics of people, some of whom he has probably never met, and empathize with them enough to give each their own individual rateing. Each receives their own, personalized flirtation.

And I, in a sense, just flirted with Trout.

For me it's a shift in speach. The poet dies and beast takes over. I don't know how else to say it.

Sometimes, flirting is just simply making another person feel good. I flirt with some people I wouldn't dream of having sex with. I enjoy the verbal play, the mutual acknowledgment of us being sexual beings, but as far as actually wanting to take it to that other level, most certainly not. I flirt with women sometimes, but my body is not giving me the "go ahead" on that one!

For me, the cross-over is the realization of feelings beside just the flirting and underlying sexual attraction and requires actual discussion of "when" and "should we?".

To me, flirting changes so much from minute to minute, whether it be playful, silly, sensual, or even formal. It overlaps into seduction to where it becomes hard to define a point at which it becomes pure seduction. I think it is more a process of learning about another person. Their likes and dislikes while trying to convey similar ideas about yourself.

I had one or more pics (it happened more than once) when I was randomly taking shots of everyone. I deleted them (I think) when I found out that it was an accident.

...as Yosef begins to remove the first few layers of dust from the road, she turns to her large jacuzzi tub, drawing the water, ensuring that the temperature is to his liking, adding some scented oils for his pleasure...
