Possums are seriously creepy. Concentrated evil with lots of sharp edges. About 5 years ago I was lying on the floor with my son playing, and I was right next to the door to the deck. This door was almost all glass. It was pitch dark outside.

I glanced over for some reason, and there was a huge possum, paws up on the window, teeth bared, just looking at me, about two feet from my face.

I swear, if my heart was any weaker, I would have died right there. I came completely unglued. It must have been hilarious for everyone in the room except me.

I am sorry it scared you hun. They are actually sweet little animals. It was probably looking for just a piece of dog or cat food. They are one of the slowest creatures that God made and don't live a very long life because of it. My cats used to share their food with them. Sat right beside them while they ate.

No, they are not. Evil, evil little messengers of Satan. They are made entirely of sharp edges and matted fur and decay, held together by pure hatred and contaminated, frothy saliva.

It was probably looking for a piece of dog or cat food as an appetizer before it feasted on human flesh and the souls of the damned.

They don't live a long life because they have no fear of their only natural enemy on earth - a speeding car.

I would say who I thought it would be .... but it's a tough choice between two. And of those two, one is probably someone worth knowing if she ever would let you get to know her past the the pesimistic facade she keeps up. The other one is just plan scary :(

Allie... I like a lot of critters- I rescue spiders at home and don't bat an eye at them walking on me... I crawl around on the floor to save lizzards any day of the week- meeces are cute and so are teeny froggies-

But if the one you're thinking of is a huge fan of Blizzard and WoW and is batshit crazy, hates SL and LL and can't wait to tell us how inferior it is to everything else out there and what a bunch of losers we are for drinking the Kool Aid, then we're thinking of the same person.

That would be my luck. I'm in NJ, there are bears here for sure and some other animals with big teeth and nasty claws lurking here and there. He's in Maryland. I don't think there are any such critters around those parts. Maybe, we'd get bit by a few crabs? :confused:
