I would guess the BTS stands for Better Than Sex, but I have never found a food yet that is BTS if the S is done correctly.

Kate - I try to get a feel for the person's individual personality from the pictures, so all I ask is that they send whatever they're comfortable and happy sending. They don't have to be naked or sexual or whatever. Just pictures that they think express who they are. Then I try to write something up that expresses what those pictures say to me about the person behind the avatar. I think I've actually gotten pretty decent at it. The point isn't to score high on the scale. It's not a measure of beauty or worth or anything like that. It's like the scale on the piano. The C keys are not any more important than the G. It's just a different sound.

I've always promised never to share the pictures I've received and I've stuck by that promise. Some of the pictures are pretty racy. ok, some are downright pornographic. But for the most part they aren't. I just don't want someone thinking that if they send me something privately, that they can't trust me to keep it that way.

Since this has come up a couple times, the background is that some moron came in here about a year ago and wanted to know why EVERY woman in SL was a total slut. OMG! Awful heathen whores!!! What a dick. Anyway, while he was getting the verbal punishment he deserved, I offered to help women determine if they were sluts or not. Just send me the sluttiest pictures you have and I'll rate them on a scale of one to ten... It was a joke. But a few women sent me some pics. I fumbled around and decided that a) I had better define the word "slut" in a positive way, and b) the women who did this deserved more than an arbitrary number, so I started doing write-ups for them. Taaaa Daaaaa! Slut Ratings were born. The women I have done them for have been very happy with them, and it makes me feel really good to make them happy, so I'll keep doing them as long as women keep asking for them.
