What she forgot is.... they can swim from behind too! One of the bigger carp came up from behind & under the dock and tried to chomp her foot. I've never seen anyone jump straight up from a sitting position before. Funniest thing ever! Based on long and tragic experience, I predict that after 25 years of marriage that laugh will still be called to your attention at the MOST inappropriate times! _____________________

Now this is my idea of a survey/study - I received this notice from one of my groups inworld:
~~~~~~ Hi. We have been asked to participate in an academic study with Georgia State University looking at how people like shopping in SL vs. shopping online. We are asking members of our update group to participate. We are asking that only residents of the United States participate as part of the study requires that you purchase something online and have it delivered. To participate, you need to fill in THIS notecard and return it to <avi-name> by Tuesday, July 29. Of the notecards returned, <avi-name> will contact the first 150 respondents who qualify and ask them to follow through with a shopping experience at <sl-store> and an online shopping experience for clothing at our <website>.com. Those chosen will be given a 500L gift certificate to shop at <sl-store> and a $25 gift certificate to be used at <website>.com. You will then be asked to fill out a quick online survey in which you will be asked about your shopping experience. After completion, we will give you a $25 gift certificate to amazon.com and another 500L GC to <sl-store>. All individual questionnaire responses will be anonymous. You will be provided with a subject number to record on the questionnaire, but there is no possible way for individual responses to be traced back to you as an individual. We will also ask you for some additional demographic information about yourself, including your real life age, educational level, gender, years of experience shopping in SL and in RL on the Internet. To participate, you need to send this notecard BACK to <avi-name> with the following questions answered: 1. What is your avatar's name (so <avi-name> can contact you)? 2. What state do you live in? Gah, I tried really hard to give myself a concussion earlier... I was putting away groceries, bent down to take something out of a bag on the floor, and stood up into the corner of the freezer door, which had swung partially shut. I hit it so hard, I seriously thought it had to be bleeding, but apparently I just get a big lump and a headache.
 Have I mentioned that I lack cat-like grace in RL? _____________________
