There are now a million landmarks in the drop down menu in my Map view, and many of them are duplicates? How do I trim this list? I went to my inventory, but the list of landmarks there doesn't seem to match the menu in my Map view.

You probably have landmarks in folders of things you purchased or freebies you picked up. Go to File>Show Filters in Inventory and click the 'None' button. Check the Landmarks box and it will show you just those. Delete and/or move them to the Landmarks folder, then click the 'All' button and close the filter window.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

And here's one for ya..... GOR. Short for Gorean.

Took me almost a year before I knew what/who they are.

Just TP (teleport) to any Gor Sim. You'll see. ;)

all these questions are answered many times on the forums, why not do a little research first?

Reading objects
07-10-2007 12:14
Thanks to Ann for your reply about rez. I do have another question about how I read objects that I get. For example, I got the newsletter Second Opinion as an object. But, I have no idea how I can read this object in-life (is that how you say it). Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure how that particular one works, but I've had others you wear to read...they appear on screen like a HUD. Right-click>Wear in inventory, right-click>Detach on screen when you're done.

Actually, Gor is not short for anything. Gorean is simply the adjectivized version of Gor. There were a series of Gor books written in the 1970s - Captive of Gor, Slave Girl of Gor, Outlaw of Gor, etc - which set the stage of counter-earth and the Gorean society.

I don't think I'd suggest just popping into one haphazardly. Jes a bad idea all around.

In-world is the term you might be looking for.

This might be the site to check for information on Second Opinion:

Non-prim hair is what you come in-world with and it's fugly. Prim hair is meant to be more attractive and realistic.

Well, maybe prim hair is MEANT to be more attractive and realistic, but most that I've seen looks like Medusa!

Personally, I like that non-prim hair doesn't slice through my shoulders when I turn my head. And I really like that I don't get any painful rear-end surprises when I teleport! :D

That's why I phrased it that way! lol

If you're happy with your non-prim hair, yay! I, however, will continue trying to buy out ETD, regardless of where my attachments occasionally wind up. ;)

Take a killer weapon with you. Ladies' weapons, like the Derringer of youre, are probably not quite enough to deal with this crowd...

LOL, I was talking about the stuff I see people wearing!

Of course I'm probably seeing the cheap people wearing poorly made freebie flexi hair. Seriously, just say NO to that!

/me confesses that she gets expensive prim hair for her alts. ;)

I always follow the rules. (Ok most of the time). And I'm as nice to people as they are to me.

I have learned that ": D" means a person is smiling no matter how silly and AOLish it may look. :)
