While I agree with al you have said your ideas should not be limited to sims or private sims but withim the whole system, as you know I had issue with plain old mainland lbuying of land, It took a lot of effort and pushing to get things resolved ( yesterday)
So whatever idea is born it should also be adaptable to the 'normal' land sales.
My land issue was resolved by one super fantastic Linden on the phone, all online 'help' stuff to resolve issues seem to be a complete and utter waste of time and effort. then again I was lucky to get an angel of a linden on my 3rd ANSWERED phone call ( about my 20th phone call)
Land issues do involve a lot on cash, a sim being $2000 which if disputed will stop at that because it is one large questionable sum, but if there is a 'normal' land sale scam going on it can involve a lot more as it takes so long for LL to look into let alone to resolve it. I would think some scammers could make a fortune for 2 weeks before being clamped down on. so a time limit for sale completion should also be incorperated within it.

I did try to email you regarding my other thread and how it was resolved.

The Lindens should institute the ability to direct USD sell Sims as well as Private items Player to Player.

If the payment fails the land returns to the original owner unless the purchaser can fix the purchase.

Since its ultimately the lindens who keep track of who "owns" what they are the most logical choice.

They could charge a fee for this service - Perhaps $20 US? 50$? whatever makes sense but not so much to discourage its use. The fee would be paid by the purchaser.
