Ive been there since its dead compared to before the sale rumors - I said it then and I say it now its way over priced.
I'm not sure if it still is now, but the week before the original sale, there was a high priced classifieds saying that Amsterdam would be restricted to verifieds only.

By then I think mostly everyone had already abandoned it, fleeing the masses of unverified newbies that flocked and massed around there :p.

Maybe they should get someone with more than 8 feedback ratings to sell it. :-)

I mean, frankly, its a stellar build and if I were rich, I'd buy it just to play with it. Overpriced? Probably. But then again someone supposedly bought a space station in Project Entropia for $100,000 - so it happens.

But I wouldn't buy a DVD from someone with only 8 feedback ratings - much less give them $60,000, I've been burnt too many times.

I think at the cost of 35 new sims and change, I'd rather take the new sims, no matter how stellar the build I think the earning potential of 35 sims outweights that of the Amsterdam sim. That's my personal opinion, I suspect others don't look at it quite the way I do.

A lot has changed in a month since the deal fell through. He has it listed for a starting bid of US$30K. I wish him the best.

Neverdie has also made $150k back on it already, plus just bought an Entropia bank for $90k. Somehow I think it would be hard to make similar profit on a sim in that same 2 year time span. So, overpriced? I think you chose a bad example for comparison.

LOL. True. I was thinking more of people are willing to spend crazy amounts of money on risky virtual ventures. :-) The space station could have tanked - but it didn't, mostly cause the hunting in the domes is nardling fun. :-)
