If you really want to help... roll up your sleeves and get your hands around the problem.

It's not that hard...

Help a man recolourize? ON THE FIRST DATE?????

It sounds like it will be soon though.

I'm not going to relay that last message of yours to him. He's in a frail state.

Tell Montana Man to man up! There's no crying in baseball!

Look . . . I am NOT a judgmental person. And if Montana Man is REALLY feeling bad about this . . . well, I want to help. I value and admire a man who is not afraid to admit that he has "issues" . . . and who is willing to expose himself, emotionally, in public like this. Even if it has made me look rather bad.

So, I'm willing to try again. Let MM know that we'll start from scratch, if he is willing. I'm ready to give this another shot, if he is.

As long as he recolourizes his bits, of course.

I will relay this change of heart to him. It was nice of you to calm down, and approach with some sensitivity. I'm sure there is still time for him to contact Jumpy, and get back those pics of you, that he forwarded.

Give him a week to find a job, and work through his "issues", and get back on his feet.

Mickey: Right-click... edit... Texture tab... apply a light tint to darken it a bit.

I mean, it's not like humans have THAT much variety in their pelts.

Thank you, Argent. If I have difficulties helping him with this.....you will be around? to help him?

If he doesn't mind ending up half-ferret.

Treasure....the problem last night was, that he was so nicely dressed and groomed, that women assumed things, and made a bee line to him, even when standing in a crowd. It was very clear that they had ONE thing on their mind....and it had nothing to do with his thing.....but rather, with his portfolio.

Well, yeah, but, he doesn't actually have a portfolio at this point, only looks as if he might. So it's false advertising.

Well good. I"m glad to see all this resolved so nicely, Scylla, that was very big of you. Especially since I was considering stepping up as sugar mama and now don't have to. Take care you two, you can work this out. :)

Ok, time to set the record straight here . . .

1) I did NOT disparage MM's equipment. I gently and helpfully pointed (for his FUTURE good!) that his bits did not match. Contrary to some of the rumours I've been hearing, I did NOT suggest that it looked like it was attached with Velcro. And I'm pretty sure that neither of the words "leprous" nor "albino" once crossed my lips . . .

2) I said many very nice things about MM's clothing before suggesting that he strip down. (And, in truth, he did look quite nice. I particularly complimented him on his hair, as I recall.) But did he ONCE say anything nice about what I was wearing? Hmmmmm? Nooooo!

3) With regard to the speed with which we disrobed, it should be pointed out -- again -- that we were on a NUDE BEACH. And that, as nice as the outfit that MM was wearing was, it was hardly suitably to our surroundings. To be honest, it was more out of concern for him that I suggested a speedy disencumbering of our clothes, than anything else: I was concerned that he'd be uncomfortable getting sand in his socks, pockets, and . . . elsewhere.

4) Yes, while it IS true that another Manly Man did show up on the scene, the suggestion that I disappeared with the new arrival is UTTER CALUMNY!! In fact, MM excused HIMSELF, with the express and admitted purpose of testing out his new wares on ANOTHER young woman who was nearby.

How do you suppose that made ME feel? Hmmmmm?

5) Yes, I do have pictures, but please stop PMing me about them! They are NOT for random circulation, you bunch of creepy voyeurs!

I am in fact in the midst of negotiation with Slut Magazine: when they are published there (following a successful conclusion of compensation talks with Jumpy), you'll all be able to gawk to your heart's content.

6)
THIS!!!!!!!!!

This is why I come to these here forums. :D :D
Give it another week, you two will be ready for Lindal's Marriage Counseling Service and Lonely Hearts Club.

Hey, handsome...is that a ferret in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I would be a bit concerned that this advice on being a man is being given to you almost entirely by females.

Uh huh, yeah? So?

Manly Man doesn't want to see YOUR jaw drop as he walks by, Vance.

So who better?

We don't get a lot of chances to put in a custom order, you know.

Well it was said that 'real men' wouldn't talk to MM about his 'thing' or help him colorize, so what choice is there except to turn to the women? Obviously, someone has to help him, women are naturally more nurturing that way. Most of us anyway. (that's NOT an offer to help colorize....)

This is an interesting point. Surely the women could get together to create the Perfect Man....but what about a True Manly Man? Do the women decide if he is Manly....or do the Men?

Well, if "manliness" is primarily a sexual feature . . . whether determined by evolution or social conditioning (and probably a bit of both, in fact) . . . then surely it is those whom it is intended to attract who are the best judges?

Homosocial behaviour -- towel flicking, butt slapping, beer drinking behaviour -- seems to me to be of an entirely different order. MM can seek help for that sort of thing from Vance.

But on the other, I think it is clearly WE who are the best judges, no?

Well, yeah.....but I'm not willing to help Montana Man go that extent. Was just going to help him with clothing and conversation and some basic concepts. Maybe I could get a real man to step in, when it comes time to test that part out, and I'll just watch and take notes and make observations.

Gee - I wonder if Montana Man might have an income opportunity here.

All of this talk of making the perfect man reminds me of an old joke.

Why can't god be a woman?

Because she would have created men with their bits on their chin.
