Grid Down?

Ok.. Like i said before, i am bored so I just keep trying to log in... I am back to getting the " You are being logged out..." message, BUT... a few minutes ago, I attempted to log in and noticed what my screen is showing me as people logged in.. the number was 28,689...once that failed attempt was done and I tried again.. ( a total of what..maybe a minute and a half ) the count for people logged in was 30,235....??? Is it really possible that there are that many ghosts getting in, or already in??? Damn....

A large number of times i tried to log in didn't work because I froze up on the log in screen... from what i understand, it is happening to LOTS and LOTS of people.

Just letting you all know that sl is full of stationery av.s who had logged off. Therefore you can't log back in as sl believes you are already there. People have logged in as their alt.s to see what's going on. It's like 'Zombie' except they're not moving

Time to go to bed I think until they re-set the grid.

These are daunting challenges, for sure. I think it's about expectations in the end. Even though I expect the airlines to run behind schedule, lose my luggage, and require a full body search when I fly, it's still frustrating even when they do offer me a bag of peanuts.

Yeah, the ghosts. I think the only way to get them off is for someone to reset the sim they are on. These people wont be able to log in til their ghosts fly away

aight, so i'm starting to see others in my area, but they say the Tp or the search still isn't working. Is this the same for everyone?

I did see some of the ghosts coming to life, something strange i noticed, they were Male avatars, bot got boobs when they came to life! And i am stuck on a private island btw and cannot teleport away...

I mean i could play poker here, but i have no L$ balance... Maybe i am dead, and the Afterlife is a Pokerhouse.... and because i have been bad i have no Money to play... arrrrr

Things were better when they were saying not to access your inventory. I was playing around with a vehicle script. Then it suddenly stopped working so I logged out for a couple hours. Now they're saying things are getting back to normal, but I can't rez anything from inventory, can't teleport more than once, and my car is still broken. :/

i was able to TP once but now it doesnt work again...

I was on a newer sim and nothing worked for me, couldn't even change my group tag, attachments wouldn't rez and scripts wouldn't run. I tp'ed back home (older, private island sim) and everything works perfect like it has all day really.

I adviced most friends to stick to the older sims (which are in the original datacenter I guess), especially for relogging and everyone logged on with inventory, body and L$ present.

West coast here and my Avi is a disaster, invisible to me and completely fracked up to anyone else (lost my custom skin, my height, my clothes fit weird, etc). My male partner's Avi is now female; can't TP anywhere, map doesn't work and I have no Linden dollars at all.

Supposedly the rolling restart began 2 hours ago. My sim is also in the far west of the islands; have they not gotten there yet?

This is horrible...don't mind some glitches but this is a real confidence buster.

There is no way this is going to be the 3D internet of the future at this point. Don't patch this, build it right in the first place.

Does anyone know how far the rolling restarts are now? Am I stuck with this or will they be restarting the South west soon.

I had been getting around just fine for the short time I was on...up until 10 minutes ago. It's like update day, just better to log off Which is what I did when TPs stopped working again.

Ugh I still can't use newly written scripts. Old ones still work, but anything new I create or save just flops. (How that happens, I have no idea.) I don't think my home sim was ever restarted either.
