This is why I think the mentor program should come back. Or at least have people wear a HUD and have a newbie be "assigned" to a mentor. This way, the HUD can advise the mentor "You've Got Newbie!" (I can see the AOL lawsuit now.. lol). But this way someone can help a newbie get started and show them the stuff in SL... not just put them through the tutorial which is crap... Well, I'd mentor as long as I could do it on my time and terms. I'm busy already, and have to carve time out to help people like I've helped Spike (but trust me, that was enjoyable time spent!). _____________________
