Drawn up by none other than the world famous Trout Recreant!

Really, between the home rentals, the mall, and modeling contracts, a girl has to protect herself ;)

/me thinks: "Damn! She has seen through my ambitions to retire to a life of ease living off her income . . . "

Pep (Looks through Yellow Pages for his own lawyer - perhaps Sooz would pop over from across the road?)

/me wonders if a Private Detective might be a better hire than a lawyer . .

Pep (And wants to see the bridesmaids list as well . . .)

Now Darling, don't be silly. It is only YOU that I want by my side!

Honey (we're not discussing under the sheets)

Tonight you're mine completely,
You give your love so sweetly,
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes,
But will you love me tomorrow?

Is this a lasting treasure,
Or just a moment's pleasure,
Can I believe the magic of your sighs,
Will you still love me tomorrow?

Tonight with words unspoken,
You said that I'm the only one,
But will my heart be broken,
When the night (When the night)
Meets the morning sun.

I'd like to know that your love,
Is love I can be sure of,
So tell me now and I won't ask again,
Will you still love me tomorrow?

~~~~
Of course ;)
Wonderful Newly-Discovered Romantic Locale
10-10-2008 13:11
I haven't read the entire thread so apologies in advance if this suggestion has already been mentioned.
There is a place called The Arbor. Website is here: http://www.thearborsl.com/
It is the closest thing I have come to in SL that feels just like being in a fine restaurant. You are met by a hostess and taken to a sky box of your choice. (They have different themes.) Then you are waited upon personally - the night we went there it was the owner, Opal Proctor. A menu is presented for each course and the hostess discreetly disappears while you look over your menu and then summon her back.
Between the courses we received a wonderful gift box to take home with us. A set of dance poseballs and if I recall correctly kiss poseballs were there.
This place is amazing - elegant, private, lovely, being waited on personally. The website indicates weddings and such, so I'm sure if you contacted them, they could arrange a very special night for you to propose.
And much happiness to you both. :)
Ew, no. Private is better.
I agree - so many guys think they should propose in front of the entire world, but I would want it to be a private intimate & romantic moment.
I'm a fan of elopement in RL. I've really never understood the point of making a big production...I don't find the notion romantic at all, especially since the promises you're making are about the two of you. As far as I'm concerned, bringing mom, dad, the 87 cousins, and Billy Bob down the street into it just dilutes that focus.
My second wedding, we had our 3 kids as they were in the wedding party, my best friend and his best friend stand up with us, and in the seats were 4 other close friends, my mom and his dad. I like it better that way.
Then we threw a big party and invited pretty much the world.
:D
Ah, but a bride's wedding day is All About Her. If the point is for the bride to be the focus of all attention, there must be a large gathering of people to provide said attention! It's all quite logical...from a certain point of view.
I prefer yours. :)
We ended up with Annabelle performing the ceremony, myself, Claire, Mo, and Feline standing up for the bride, and Mad, Crazod, and Chris standing up for the groom.
And the bride looked absolutely ravishing and it was a beautiful ceremony.
/me wipes another tear from her eye
Proposals of marriage require two questions which *must* be asked. The first is:-
"Are you sure that you're filthy stinking rich?"
For the second question, play it by ear according to the reply.
LMAO exactly!
