I've tried a lot of skins. My favorites have to be the ones I have bought from Second Skin Labs, Abyss, and Nevermore.

Just be careful of the ones you buy on places like SL Exchange and Onrez. While there are many reputable skin makers there, there are also tons of stolen skins for around $50. There's a reason they are $50.. they're stolen, usually from either X2 or the "Alina" line of skins by Naughty Designs.

Sin Skin Stratus is all I wear.I started with the free newbie set and buy a few every so often. Every time I feel like a new one, I say I'm going to try another brand, I go out and try out some others, some mentioned here, but I always wind up back buying more Sin Skins. I use her eyes too.
