Jig Says Goodbye

If it was not all about Jig she could of contacted those who she cares about in SL and met with them to say goodbye dont you think?

FFS..Is it really that big a deal? Just ignore the thread and move on if it bothers anyone that much.

Jig would not be angry. It is just Pavlov conditioning to her threads. We doggies know about these things. People expect her threads to be provocations and so they are perceived that way regardless.

Jig responded to as many folks as possible with more poise, maturity, and eloquence than I could ever hope to muster. The thread is about us all.

I think I've said that before. But it bears saying again.

Jig.. while we rarely actually talked to each other, I always loved reading your posts. You make people stop and think, or stop thinking and feel. You blindside them in their blinders, and even if for a instant, get them to look slightly outside of them.

You are a true Pixie... seeing a rut, and kicking it so that those in the rut have to bounce out of it, even if just for a instant.

I never say goodbye, because the future is yet unwritten, and even if it was written, I would not read it. Always better that you capture each instant as a fresh and new instant.

Hush. Let's not pass away here so bluntly. Rioko if you see me as selfish I am sorry. I wanted this thread to be my way of saying goodbye to so many people and bring us all together one last time. Here. As we have always been. I dont come with you. I am staying back in sl and my world will revolve around my Hal. I have been married in sl to him for a long time now and he doesnt grow younger. I have a duty to him. This is the best place to wish you all well and bless you as you go your way.
So bless you Rioko. And I really dont mind if "quite a few" cant stand me. Sometimes I cant stand me. It's part of what I am in real not to be loved by everyone. I encourage that. So hush now. I'm not gonna annoy you any more. Be at peace. I'm gone from your life.

Congrats on your 1000 th posting. Imagine that! Such a milestone and its about me and forum closes down in hours.
Oh, dont be so nudgey. Just say bye and share a smile. We'll never meet, so it doesnt matter for once if we say goodbye decently. I never contacted you cos it was obvious you werent a friend of mine. But I am sure if we had done so we would have at least found somethings in common.

Thanks Weston. You are gonna be my last answer although so many posted such lovely sl thoughts and - they were and are lovely.
SL isnt about arguing - and its not about me or you or ... its about Us.
SL is an incredible voyage for a "Ship of Fools" - we've let it take us many miles and across many oceans of pixil magic.
We have neen a complete cross section of humanity and we've done it together. Remember to spare a thought for those of us who died in real and for those who left sl for many reasons we didnt know about. They dont have the chance to say goodbye. Let's say goodbye to them all in our own ways.

I leave Hal as my last farewell. I will return to him in sl and be by his side. In sl I met a real man one day at Mahulu and took him home with me. He became "my" Hal.

And it doesnt matter what I have done - or failed to do - because he has loved me uncompromsingly. He has never asked anything of me except a kind word and a few intimate moments. He has aged as I have known him and now is well into his sixties. He is a clever wise man and I thank teh Fates that I met him here. But I wish I had been at teh right age and at teh right place and at teh right time to have married him and had his children and been by his side in his life journey.

I hope that wherever you all go and whoever you all are, and what worlds you share and what lovers and partners you have, what children you bear and nourish and care for, I hope, I really, really hope that they will be as kind as my Hal has been to me.

Hal saved my life. And because he did so, now I have my second life.

Hell, I'll say goodbye with my head held high. I've never met you in SL and I've never really talked to you (or even at you) here in the forums. I have read a lot of your threads and posts..........some floored me, some made me laugh and some even pissed me off. However, there was (and remains) a very solid consistantency about you..........you are Jig. You pretend to be nothing else...........and, in my eyes, that is big plus. It's also something a few here should take notice of and try to immulate. Spitting venom is easy to do.........taking that venom with a smile is not.

You go girl.
