Jeremeys Cove, home of barefoot apparel
08-06-2007 17:36
Hi everyone. I would invite you to stop by and explore my home located in Snafu.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Snafu/78/75/37

There is much to see. My business, barefoot apparel and barefoot homes & designs are based here in Snafu. I am a builder first and am very proud of my builds. You will TP in at my main store which is the 'Old Country Store' and the new boardwalk. I am in the process of building another building now right next to the present store. On the South end of my property you will see my first store which is called 'Big Red', and also the welcome center. On the North end on top of the hill is the new Snafu Visitors Center which is still under construction. I work with my neighbors who have an art gallery and we have connected our parcels with a skybridge at the welcome center, not an easy thing to do. You can walk all around most of Snafu. A word of caution if you go see the art gallery, not all of the art will agree with some folks. Please take some time and come explore my property and the art galleries. I hope you enjoy my work, I look forward to any comments, suggestions. have fun!

Courtyard Plaza

Courtyard Plaza is a commercial area with a dedicated Art Gallery section up top, and the home of Offset Art. We're still pretty new, but please stop by and let me or Bi Dagger (PR) know what you think of the build. We're trying to create as classic a look as possible, with some modern elements that hint at Art Deco.

We're always on the lookout for artists to feature weekly, and will soon be hosting parties and events. We host unique furniture from a variety of artists.

It's a great place to take your friends just to hang out and chat, with friendly neighbors and very little lag.

We're always open to suggestions.

See you there!

Reconstructing the build. It's a steampunk-themed airship/water ship port inspired by the micronation of sealand and oil rigs. Light commerce, including some of the best sculpts in SL ;) Also has a rezzable, ridable airship.

This is my business land where I probably spend most of my time when not in my studio: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Slustleria/202/159/28

... and this is my beach home: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Smallville%20Heights/188/203/22
Very different to my business but I don't get to spend that much time there and have had to take some items up when I need more prims when creating in my skybox.

Both places are best set to midnight even though they are opposites of each other :)

Sappho's Garden - Freebie Garden

My little gift back to SL, my freebie garden, meant almost as a gallery of sorts of the free plants I've gathered in my time in SL:

Not mature in the least.

Just bought my first piece of land last night, so there is nothing to show yet, alas. Although, if you haven't see Ty's work at Ambiance, it is truly lovely:

This is my private home in "Trenton". A friend of mine built house for me and then one day I got bored so I saved it and then ripped the copy apart and made it into something different. No, it isn't what you would call "pretty" on the outside, but that is the point. I love the contrast between the outside and in. I just have the living room and loft and that is perfect for me. I built everything in it myself (minus the plant). After you take a look at my house, have a walk through town. The door is unlocked which in a town like this is asking for trouble. :P

Warning: Some places outside of my home may contain offensive content including and not limited to sex, violence and vulgar language

Did that Commentary thread ever get started?

No, I started to worry that people would scold me that TWO threads on the same subject was overkill, so I chickened out. I is a wimp =oD

I guess we could either A) Start a second thread for comments and feedback as I originally meant to do, or B) Just start adding them here now that the majority who are going to sign up, probably have. (It might also help to keep this thread on the "first page" and maybe help some people spot it who haven't been on the forums for a few days..)

I've always been terrible at making decisions -- so someone else decide!! ^_^

This will drop you in front of my little lounge, Antares. From there you can wander out into the sim and see the generally lovely development that I and my neighbors have put together. I own a little more than half the sim.

Be sure to look at the rest of the Steam Sky City platform while you are visiting.. its an amazing place.. /QUOTE]

I think this is just about the strangest place I've seen yet in SL. I truly feel like I'm plopped down in the middle of something I don't comprehend and it's a very cool feeling. Guess I'm not familiar with that genre, Victroian sci fi, alternate history, steam punk, or whatever it is. I only know it's breathtaking. -- KC

Thankyou :o Hope your alt enjoys her furniture.

If she decides she needs more, give me a shout and I just might be able to manage a discount ;)

This is our little beach side home in Dream Land's Cyberia.
It's in an area with double prim lots and protected land.
There is also a great road system that spans 29 sims with a few shops along the way.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Intelligent%20Winds/206/25/27

My motorsports gallery in the same area as above, it's just up across the road from our house.
In behind it is a wooded area that eventually leads to a small crater lake, check the map.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hubunny/239/188/21

This is our latest little plot of land in Corsica.
It's located in the southwest part of the continent.
I origionally purchased it as a place to launch my boats and watercraft and have since turned it into a public boat launch.
There are also submarines you can ride.
Click the life ring to tp to the top of the lighthouse.
Still a work in progress.

Hope you enjoy. :)

This is my digital photo art gallery. The building is prefab but I am currently adding an extention to house art I've collected in SL. My digital photo art is very colorful, abstract, and I invite everyone to come take a look. It is PG-13 as there are a couple of pieces which show very tasteful and highly manipulated naked body parts.

the Hubbeh and i went by to check out one of the posters home(he is better at remembering names thani am) and LOVED it! i felt as if i was plopped right into an Final Fantasy scene, and enjoyed it immensly(sp), so please do stop by Steam Sky City its worth it.

also went to Cherry's place and was blown away by the scenery and her home/club area. and she has a gorgeous view of the ocean as well! also worth a peek

and the Botanical garden was simply breathtaking. the builds and creative content is wonderful to behold and we will be making many return trips! picnic anyone?

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Keeping this up top today since it's the last day. =)

My build is on the first page, but I did a full rebuild of it yesterday. Lots of trees and open space now, nothing new on the sales front though, but it's much prettier all around now. =)

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Svarvarsson/136/143/55/

(e) and I left the workshop door open while I'm out shopping, it's across the street on the lot with the little pond ^.^
