Gah, my powers of observation were obviously not up to snuff yesterday...hopefully today will be a better day. In any case, seeing ol' Anubis there reminded me that I'd been meaning to add Bast to my collection, so I went ahead and did that. Now if I could just remember to pay attention to when a Solstice or Equinox rolls around so I could at least TRY to get an adult version of one of my wyrmlings... *sigh* Oooo, and thanks for the recipe, Suzi!

The Anubis & Bast are pretty similar but if you see them standing side-by-side, you'll see a lot of small differences. All Daryth's avatars are copy/mod and come with HUDs to help you do custom paint jobs. I had my big anubis tricked out with a cowboy hat hanging off one ear and spurs on my back claws but it poofed on a nasty sim crossing/sim crash/client crash perfect storm a few months ago and haven't rebuilt it.  Suzy, you come near me with any clay and you'll get to see my Tiamat avatar! Ann, the big ones can be fun but they're so damn ginormous, they're kinda like trying to drive a pregnant yak down a twisty road - wyrmlings are a lot easier to move around in. (that said, there's a handy chart at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equinox . Next hatching is September 23 - show up a few days early to register.)

Without it, ya.. forget movement in all but the widest open spaces. Mari

Yep. Before I found the Isle of Wyrms, I used to hang out on the Isle of Yaks.
I haven't seen the camera thing for the egyptian dragons, Marianne. It may be that the newer dragons have them but mine don't seem to have them. Looks easy enough to script, though - I may give it a shot myself..
