I have alt accounts pre 2007 that were used mainly just for holding things like sploders and kasino games (when I had kasino games)
i still have the alts and still once in awhile log in to keep them active
it would take more than 100US for me to part with any of them
(and it is not cuz ppl know them as me, it is cuz they are mine)
good luck finding anyone willing to sell older accounts for low L's or $'s
if a birthdate is that important for RP... then make it a rule in the RP group that the birthdate would be shown somewhere else, ie the sl profile or on the languages tab, anything)
after all it is RP, you can make that kind of rule as part of the char.
heh having to get an older account for b/d RP purposes is like saying I need an old notebook (paper) for my older char in a d&d game, that paper is too new for my char, it needs to be a book the same age as my char
