Sure, no ones had any issues with money disappearing yet or passwords stolen, but who's to say that there isn't a "trojan horse" in the code that is timed to act at a certain time. Why steal passwords and money now when only a few people are using the client when it would be more beneficial to wait several months and strike when many people will be affected?
Well the fact that you can take and compile the code itself and look at all the code before you compile it for one. Even if you don't trust compiled versions if you see the code, can see that there's nothing wrong in the code, and know that the code you personally verified is the code you are compiling then unless your utterly insane or blind (and therefore unable to see the code in the first place) you would be absolutely doubting yourself if you doubted it. From: Markubis Brentano I hope I'm wrong and just being paranoid Nicholaz....the viewer sounds great and would love to try it. Keep up the good work. a certain amount of paranoia is a very good thing, however yes in this case you are quite paranoid.

I would love to try this viewer...but just need a little technical advice. Does each individual file need to be downloaded, or is there just one item to click on to download. Just a little advice from someone way savvier than me, please??

You just need one of the zip files...17e or 17g, depending on which version of the regular SL viewer you have.
Then follow the instructions here: http://www.blueflash.cc/users/nicholaz/!!Installation.txt
