When unclaimed land goes public

Barring technical surprises, unconfirmed land parcels will be released to public starting at 11 AM PST on Monday, January 26. We estimate the process will take less than an hour.

This includes land that was purchased prior to 1.2 and never confirmed. Link here for more information. Or go directly to My Account to check your status.

It also includes group-owned land that is in excess of allocations. Link here for group information.

Objects in excess of land allocation will start disappearing on February 2. Link here for information about objects.

The release of unconfirmed land has been delayed to 2 PM PST on Monday, January 26.

The delay was triggered when Second Life went offline for three hours. The moment of the land release is controlled by timers that stopped counting during the down time. A couple of sims that crashed separately will be delayed by an hour or two later.
