Grace Period Extended

The Governor has decided to delay the deadline for landowners to confirm land ownership of land purchased before 1.2. (Land purchased since then should be confirmed within 24 hours or the land may go public.)
This means you’ll have more time to figure out how much land you want to own and what land use tier is appropriate for you before you are billed for land use fees. Land ownership needs to be confirmed before the deadline at "My Account".

The grace period has been extended to January 26th. Make sure you confirm any land ownership before then.

Yes, the grace period to confirm an ownership tier for land owned before 1.2 has been extended, but some recent buyers have found their parcels owned by someone else.

Here's why - New land you buy will go public 24 hours after purchase in a couple of situations:

1. Someone who hasn’t yet confirmed a land ownership tier buys new land and doesn’t approve the purchase. This can happen whether or not the new purchase would require an increase in the monthly fee. This circumstance does not apply to lifetime subscribers.

2. Someone does confirm a land ownership tier and later buys new land that requires a higher land ownership tier - but doesn’t confirm it. This will continue to true after January 25.
