LL will close even active group forums this fall.
We have useful content in our forum. Please respond with your suggestions as to the best way to preserve access to that and future content, either in world or out of world.
I'll also replicate this invitation in a group message, but responding here is probably the most efficient way for all members to properly consider your ideas.

~ Frank ~ Perhaps there should be a LSSL website with its own forum?

Separate website
09-01-2006 15:50
From: Ashcroft Burnham Perhaps there should be a LSSL website with its own forum? A good idea. One aspect of the suggestion is that a separate website will require someone to volunteer a website, or for the group to budget for the costs of its own website, plus the maintenance chores of a forum. Should we adopt a budget for that? Considering the low traffic in this group forum now, we'd need to balance the cost and effort against the benefit. ~ Frank ~

Hi, You can get a group forum created at several of the existing resident run sites. SLUniverse offers this service; see this thread: /128/d5/136812/1.html SLUniverse's group forums are free, and you'd have moderation power over your forum, and they can be private if you want. I suspect the other resident run sites offer this service as well. This might be a better solution than starting a totally separate new forum.

Please at least fully archive this forum

Despite the somewhat low traffic, this forum contains some of the richest intellectual property. I'm searching for the contractual enforcement thread and can't find it. I'd recommend migrating all of the posts to another site such as Suzanne suggested or perhaps to the forums at neufreistadt.info.
I'm sure Gywnneth Llewellen at neufreistadt.info would be happy to host the law society forum. We're also lucky to have Ashcroft Burnham as a new citizen, prolific poster and RL lawyer who has commented extensively on a new design for our judiciary.
The SC headed by Gwyn, however moderates them. If that doesn't work for you maybe we can mirror the SLUniverse version of the law society forums.
Thanks!

"Towards a Theory for Enforcing Contract, Resolving Disputes & Incorporation" is at: /148/86/78317/1.htmlI downloaded and saved to Word the "printable" version of that thread. ~ Frank ~
