Any weekend days are okay for me, though I tend to start fading around 9 or 10 pm as I work 6-2:30 on weekdays. I assume we'd get together sometime in the afternoon, though?

Well, that was a little on the sparsely-attended side (just me, Oliva, and Maxie), but the short notice probably had something to do with that. We were batting around the idea of doing dim sum next Sunday (which is Mother's Day, so fair enough if it doesn't work for everybody) at Sun Sui Wah. Probably be sometime around 10-10:30? It gets quite busy after that.

It's not the cheapest place around ($25-30 per person), but damn is it good.

I hope we get to meet more of Vancouver SLers next week and at other events planned over the course of the Summer.

C'mon, don't be shy...It's not as awkward as you think it could be. I had my doubts...but I'm glad I went.

That gelato was to die for, and it was nice to chat without waiting for anything to rez... ;)

Eh everyone, hope it turned out okay etc... I was swamped with things yesterday and by the time I was done, it was bedtime heh... hopefully can make it out to the next one and maybe a bigger turnout too if we can get the word around and a bit of notice etc :)

Hey Dimanche,

Everything was pretty quiet this week, in SL. I'm still trying to log into my own sims with 1.9.1 (25), with no luck. I haven't heard from Oliva. I know she was having touble with her Telus account last Sunday. Oliva, are you back online?

How about we aim for the weekend after Victoria Day? Are you in town? Is anyone in town? Would we have more success if we organized something on the side of the Patullo? I saw a report on CBC News about a winery called "Domaine de Chaberton" (http://www.domainedechaberton.com) in Langley. It's one of the oldest wineries there. He came in the early 80's. They seem to have a nice bistro there. Perhaps lunch on the Saturday or Sunday?... I have a car, Oliva has a van and Dimanche also has a car, so we could carpool from Vancouver.

How does that sound?...Anyone interested? Willing? Able?...

I'm going to be in the vancouver area in october for 2 weeks with my husband,
if anyone wants to meet up and act like children with us, probably get kicked out of a bar, immaturely run around walmart like teenagers, and smoke too many cigarettes with an RL wierdo and a cop, get ahold of me!

Sadly, there aren't Wal-Marts in Vancouver. You have to go waaaay out to the burbs for that. ;)
