UK Meet Up

Is anyone thinking of organising a UK meet up? Or is anyone interested??

Coventry of all places... living there I can't imagine why anyone suggested it!

There's a fair few people on these forums who really should be sent to
Coventry .

Ok, a quick search of the forum came up with these three... one from Glastonbury '07, one for London and the other is the Coventry lot...

It's been a while since I've heard anything about these, and hey maybe some have them have been and gone but there are definately people here in the UK willing to meet up.

Maybe trawl these posts and IM some people. The Coventry one was appealing, but London's closer.

In the end I didn't go to either... seems I like my anonymity.

With all these other venues being down south, I am wondering if there is any interest in a more Northern location. Perhaps Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Manchester or York?

I guess there are people up north who would be interested...its just a matter of who wanna organises it!!

i went to London meet and it was excellent... but i would prefer a northern meet as i live up north..... whos gonna organise it....

I'll organise one in Manchester if people are interested but it won't be for a few months yet 'cause I'm in the middle of moving house.

If only First Life was as simple as Second Life; then I'd just put my house in my pocket and teleport to the new location without fuss.

If anyone does another London meet, I'll be up for buzzing along.

I go pubbing and clubbing in central Manc every week. If the time is right ....

I can't think of a nicer place for a meet than Edinburgh.

April?? Hows the house move going? I was reading another thread and it seems a Manchester meet up may be quite popular...I live down south now but originally from south Manchester...I still have friends and family there so I would be interested...I would also be happy to help organise. The move is going slowly for contractual reasons* but everything should be sorted by mid-to-late October. I'll IM you about organising a meet.

* i.e. contractors still renovating the house I'm moving into.

Well I just had word that my new house will be ready for me to move into on the 19th so I should be all moved and settled in within a fortnight after that. So how about a Manc meet-up in November?

Glad to hear things are moving along for you...I cant see any prob with November...difficult to say until nearer as it will obviously involve a whole weekend for me.

I'm close enough to come, but I'm not in Manchester or even a regular visitor. So I don't know it well enough to suggest anywhere.
