It looks like there's one on the drawing board as we speak Teagan. Check out /234/88/176965/1.html for the topic so far.

We are sorting out a RL meet up In september.... Its gonna be on the 8th September in Coventry, nice and central for everyone.

There are loads of us brits (and europeans) over at Solo's on Solo Island, and we are all up for meeting and having a laugh - you can IM Me in world if you want or pop down to the club sometime.

We're normally right at the top of the list if you put in solo's, single, or singles in search > Places.

:) :) :) :)

I might just turn up to that myself you know.

There doesn't appear to be a lot of activity but did you know there was a Euro SLCC planned in Amsterdam?

excellent! it's probably cheaper to fly to Amsterdam with a budget airline than it is to get the train to Coventry. i'm going to speak to my friends about this. sounds like a great excuse for a holiday. =)

There's a SL birthday bash taking place in London on June 23rd:
http://www.slnn.com/article/second-life-birthday/
"All European and residents of the United Kingdom are welcome. "

Nothing to do with me, but I'm planning to turn up :)

IMPORTANT QUESTION

Do we have to pay or register to go to these events? If so, where? And where can I find more information on the June one, that link is just a news story.

Thanks

Well worth turning up
06-19-2007 13:30
I went to the first one that the held last year and that was well worth turning up. I got to meet a lot of well known names and pretty cool people. I'm turning up to this one too. Look forward to seeing everyone there! p.s bring your laptops too if you can! Theres WIFI and Maaddy is right. It isnt advertised well enough like the last one. I was told about it from a Second Life facebook group.

I'll be there. It's walking distance from my home. (=

It's a shame none of my first life friends in London use Second Life so I'll be turning up alone. Still, hopefully this will be the kick to get me back into Second Life producing more magic for this magical world.

If you're going to be in London on Saturday, email Nick at Rivers Run Red.com to get more details.

I find it quite strange it is not advertised. i found one reference to it on looking for something completely different on Google. even riverrunsred.com doesn't seem to have the info and i can not get confirmation its even still on.

i know its in the tea warehouse in t-bar but one little tiny article from another source doesn,t inspire me to make the 800 mile round trip. if i had confirmation form nick or someone could say "yes" its on, then i would attend as i am in London Saturday and would resced my appoint to be there....

True, it seems poorly adverstised. I checked their website and their islands in SL for more information but couldn't find it. It was only that article in SLNN which I read because of this thread that I knew about it.

I emailed Nick as per that article and he got back to me pretty much straight away with a PDF of the invitation. You should try to make it. :D

Just wanted to say that this was a fantastic day out. It was amazing to meet up with so many creative and interesting (and not to mention friendly) people.

Next time I won't drink so much...

Anyway, big thanks to Nick and Louise at RRR.

See you all again!
