I new to this. I'm looking for wholesome groups of older people who are interested in learning from each other. I'm rather surprised that when I type in older or mature, that I get implied SL sexual stuff. I not interested in that. Any groups you can suggest spiritual,nature,interdenominational,travels,etc

From: Gina Dawn Guys, all my best friends in SL are well over 40 and my best bud is 62. And a recent study showed that most online, social gaming is done by women over 40!! Well you know how many time i hear people say they are 35? well HINT kids always say they are around this age because it gives the illiusion of then NOT being under 18. There i assume 25% of the population under 18 on sl........ |

My best friend and one of my longest SL friends ( I met her about a month or so when I joined three years ago) is in her fifties. The person who referred me to SL was in her fifties and my close friend whom I talked into joining last summer is in her fifties. I became friends with a nice man I met a few months back while at The Elbow Room and he's in his sixties. My SL children were around me nearly a year before we all realized we were they same age,lol . I'm in my early thirties but most of my friends seem to be either around my own age or older i've only have a small amount of friends who are under thirty and the only reason we figured out an age difference was because one of us might say something before or past our time where we'd stop in the conversation and say what are you talking about?

but perhaps its just misspelt.

Any groups you can suggest spiritual,nature,interdenominational,travels,etc Just try typing in words related to what you are interested in eg spiritual, nature etc, either in the Places search or Events search. Do a Groups search too and see what comes up. Another way to meet like minded people is to attend some of the discussions that are held (find them in the Events search, use the Discussion drop down tab). |
