I vote for Kris! :)

I'd be fairly sure Kris would do the job over her cold dead body, sure.

It can be arranged, if that's how you mod best :)

You wouldn't ban me, would you Kwis?? Awww...

I'm not at all sure this is a good idea, but until it's tried, I guess we won't know. Well, if we're going to do it, then sign me up as a volunteer - another thing which I'm not sure is a good idea but what the hell...

I volunteer. It would give me a "good reason" to be on the forums :D

Can we nominate other people? Like I think it would just be a gas if Prokvy, Coco, Siggy and Enebran all had moderation powers. On the other hand it could also be said that I'm looking for entertainment, not moderation. And anyone who said that would be right! Ahh well thats why I 'play' SL -- entertainment!

Sounds like you have plenty of volunteers, but I'll join the crowd. It'd give me something to do on my lunch hour. ;)

I shall be VERY interested to see who actually gets chosen for this thankless task. Personally I feel that anyone who wants the job is probably the last person who should be considered...

But what do I know about anything?

ROFL!

Quite right too...

This sounds interesting. I volunteer.

I have no idea if I have a clean record :). I've never been suspended but I think I was warned in the sandbox once for dropping a push bomb into the middle of two groups that were fighting. I know because 1 of those who reported it appologized later :P. Personally while it's things like that might spoil my chances, I would consider that creative use of humor to defuse a situation :). It did end the sandbox feud.

Other than that, I suppose someone will do searches for posts by each person who volunteers. I think that will speak in my favor. I think :).

Thanks for the consideration,
Rickard

Point One: For your information, Vivianne, I turned down modding for TSO. Everyone everywhere ELSE but in this snakepit of a forums has respect for my opinion, and I treat people very well. But a bunch of you never have and never will, because I stood up for the HIGHLY IMPROPER FORUM TREATMENT of Prok and Catherine, and called for forum reform ages ago.

This strikes me as a last-ditch effort to do something (that doesn't cost them anything) before they do as Philip has apparently said he'd like and get rid of the forums altogether. That couldn't happen fast enough to please me.

Point Two:
Those who get these positions WILL be in a position to ban people from the forums. And when they do that, they will be banning those people from the game.

I don't think that is even LEGAL - to give some players that much power over others.

Sorry for the interruption - but you will notice that my name was brought up by someone else, not me, and in a defamatory manner. (Yeah, lets have these folks moderate the forums.) I get to respond.

Total thread derailment!

I don't nominate myself.

Can we get a better description of what the scope of these mod positions will be?

Are you joking?

This lot wouldn't know fair or objective if it slapped them in the face with a large dead fish.

For example, I pretty much wouldn't want ANY of those who have volunteered so far moderating the forums.

For the humanity!

But...but....but...
