Minor gripe:
I'm still waiting to see the "teammates" appear for the Game Dev Contest winners. My partner in crime Alan Beckett still wants something for his resume, after all. Otherwise, I like. _____________________

The right nav bar on the individual transactions page covers up part of the transactions, running balance, etc.

I really like it... I think it makes the whole concept of SL more clear. It's certainly more pleasing on the eyes. Nice work!

Some of the links from the top of the forums still go to the old pages.. Other than that and things already mentioned, I like it! Go Bub and the web team!

Wow, very professional looking, I love it!
Now to DRIVE YOU INSANE!!!!! my only compaint, no easy (one click) access to the forums. As to save time I'd add it on the bottom line near the "system requirements, DMCA, etc" links, or better yet, next to the "your account" at the top, no need for a special button then. - Sam _____________________

Historical L$/USD exchange rate chart. Is it gone forever, or am I having browser issues?

LindeX is missing historical pricing chart and link to LindeX Transactions summary page. Glad you got the Sell button back on the page, though.
Ya'll really should have previewed/beta'd this thing. Also, it's sad that you're using style sheets with fonts specified in pixels/point sizes. Now browser overrides of font sizes don't work and those of us over 25 can't read the darned text. But then, nobody at LL would have that problem. ![]() On edit: it really is a much fresher look. Good job on that! |

Historical L$/USD exchange rate chart. Is it gone forever, or am I having browser issues? I don't see it either and it's a critical bit of information. It looks like it isn't reading the currency exchange settings (Basic or advanced) from our accounts. Everyone is seeing the "basic" view, I suspect. And the screen that changes this setting doesn't seem to be hooked up either. _____________________

Oh, and BTW, from the forums ... the "news", "land", "downloads" and "support" links still take you to the old pages, not the new ones. No, I'm not filing any more bug reports ... QA this stuff.

If you enter via www.secondlife.com there doesnt seem to be any way to reach the forums/support/downloads etc although you can go via the new community link which seems kinda hidden, there was the drop down on the old version, also on the map if you click the yellow dots and click buy me you get the following text in the window, pointing to the part about nearest hub
"Click here to teleport to the nearest hub (Note: you need to have Second Life installed for this link to work). Follow the red beacon until you reach the parcel of land." Also dont see links to the two wiki's on the support page, normal and scripting as well as the other support links, also there is no page at all for the preview _____________________

No friends list on the first page is a hugh mistake.
I'd like to see that back up. And easy forum access too. Otherwise, looks fine, just needs some getting used to |

I can't find my Lindex transactions, nor the market data page.
That means I can't see what I've done in the past, cancel something I no longer want to do, or plan future activities. Also, Im not fond of links popping new windows. I like to manage new windows myself, particularly in firefox where I get to open in a new tab if I want. The link to forums under community opens in a new window. I do like the look, you made the same color scheme look new and fresh ... nice job. |

It's aesthetically pleasing, but not as easy to navigate as the old one, at least using Firefox. Going to the forums from My Account opens them in a new browser, which isn't good. As others mentioned, part of Transaction History is covered on the top right, and other various areas of the pages seem to overlap each other, making them hard to read or use.

I like the hopeful, optimistic feel. It's also got a lot of rounded corners with care, almost like panels you can wrap your fingers around without getting cut. That in itself is elegant.
I don't care too much for the high sun, it's not warm enough for me. Altho I like the blue gradients, they're almost painterly. And it's a bit difficult to see "Your World. Your Imagination." Would be nice to have different suns/moons depending on the time inworld, but that would of course be more intensive, bandwidth-wise. There should at least be one header banner with the new ripple water. ![]() The map in this context is even better, very fun to use. I like how it tells me more about what's going on, i.e. "This is a postcard"-type thing. Scrolling it is confusing, however: I thot I could click-and-hold on an arrow to get it to keep scrolling, but it doesn't do that. Those screenshots are classic (http://secondlife.com/showcase/screenshots.php) but really should be updated from 2005. I remember them from an old media kit, hehe. I have a feeling they will be anyhoo, just sayin'! I like the idea of the Showcase. Looking at a lot of the little touches... On http://secondlife.com/community/ it's funny how the word COMMUNITY is being beamed out of Jeff Linden's eyes—or someone who looks like him. THE LATEST news looks like it has potential in the future for spreading the word about what's going on. Nice to see some areas updated to recognize a growth in certain areas, like the Education page. Partners page still has a typo (one I reported way back). It spells "disolve" wrong twice: "You may disolve this partnership at any time and will be assessed a L$25 fee." Ironic! The link to support is broken on:"I would like to disolve my partnership with..." https://secondlife.com/community/troubleshooting.php It is currently https://secondlife.com/support.php Going to https://secondlife.com/support/ is the old version. Looks like it should be http://secondlife.com/community/support.php _____________________
