From: Zena Juran Not so Dekka... I do not use looped sounds at all. Many others find that looped sounds might work as a functional set of wind chimes but I do not. I have scripted over 100 individual chime notes to act in "concert" as a *True* set of windchimes.
wooo hooo! I love windchimes, I'm goin to check these ones for sure. Hey Zena can you send me a LM inworld, (I hope they are not heavy prim, I really need more prims )

From: Qie Niangao Well, the title of the thread has a question mark, so I'm gonna answer it: The best wind chimes in SL are indisputably Beatfox's "Zephyr" chimes. To scripters, they're pretty much the *only* wind chimes in SL: they're physical and react to llWind() and collisions, and they come with several tunings or you can tune each chime individually. Pretty much the last word in wind chimes, since long before I joined. At Luskwood General Store, Lusk 138, 173. Aren't you glad you asked? Oh man, I'm so there. Anything that actually reacts to llWind is pretty cool. I made a windmill once that spun according to the wind vectors. Fun stuff!

From: George Standish Wow! What a coincidence. I was on my mainland lot yesterday and heard windchimes. After camming around a bit I found them and looked up the creator. HAHA! It was you! I then pulled out my map and teleported to your place where I spent some time enjoying the place and spending some money. You have a nice place and some very nice windchimes. But the silent people in the box above your store were a little "creepy".

Every wind chime I have gotten has cause lag to the point of Lindens comeing to see why and telling me that is the reason for the lag. When I picked it up there was less lag so I dunno I Love them but I dont use them anymore I had to many customers complain about the lag when I had them.

I don't doubt that at all, assuming that the individual "chimes" are made physical. If there are enough of them and they are constantly reacting with each other, they could potentially crash a SIM.

Zena and I have crossed paths before. She rented a plot for her store from me briefly. Her chimes are nice, but the thread says more than I could ever say.
