I used to see these all the time, but now I dont. Ever. Anywhere, I get spammed to hell in the sandbox building things all the time. I cant hardly go anywhere without someone doing some sort of griefing? What are you Lindens doing? Where are you? Have you all died? Was Linden a cult and you all drank the Kool-Aid? Hey guys, we need some help, people are coming in and ruining experiences for everyone.

And you think messages like this will help anything? Or is it "cool" to post in this way?
If a griefer acts, AR... a good detailed, but not agressive AR with all the information needed and if needed a snapshot included. That does help (have seen the result often).... Bashing around here on the forums will help nothing, apart from getting the thread locked. Morwen. |

Actually, just a few hours ago, a Linden opened up chat in a large group I am in and said she had some free time and asked us if we had any Gov. Linden-owned land around us with junk on it that we wanted cleaned up. This was completely out of the blue and unexpected. I actually happened to have the coordinates of a plot like that written down to open a ticket at some point, so I passed the info on and the plot was cleared within minutes!
Lindens do exist and they pop up in the most unexpected ways! ![]() _____________________

I agree with this post

Sorry to say I must agree.
I have land in a few mainland sims and just about everyday there are attacks of spam particle emitting objects. I report them most of the time but dealing with it now for over a month I just get tired of reporting. So now I just stand there in the midst of a garbage filled screen and wonder why Linden Labs don't seem to care. Lindens please help. _____________________

Problem solved.... This is something people can solve themselves. Bad land management is not in first place a Linden problem... And in the case that someone can't be reached to turn on auto-return (or doesn't want to). LL has always removed the object. Morwen. |

I like when people parade around and try to make people look like idiots LOLZ THEY CAN SOLVE THIS THEMSELVES! Well, the particle effects that they used are like huge and viewable from sim to sim along with some animation request spammer that disables the use of most of your resources such as Abuse Report and Screenshot, along with being offered a teleport and teleporting in general. Experience it first before you start acting all high and mighty. When you've been here as long as I, then perhaps you can climb back on that chair, but for now, get down.

Its quite a site to see. And I'm talkin bout your chair there, that high and mighty chair! WOOT! Either way, step down. And stop putting your first name at the end of your message, it looks stupid. I can see the poster name just fine, thanks.
But anyhow, Try it before you claim YOU CAN BYPASS IT, yes, I can bypass it, but frankly, I shouldnt have to. Ever. |

You know, it IS possible to disagree with someone without resorting to name calling or otherwise insulting them. You only make yourself look bad when you resort to those tactics.
![]() Also, the Lindens rarely visit these forums, so posting to them here isn't likely to do you any good. _____________________

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

You my friend are a dumbas$ Pariticles flood the whole sim no matter whos land they are on. agreed, but a way to reduce attacks would be that ppl would have auto return on so they can`t initiate an attack in the first place, i somehow disagree as they would just get the libsl and login a couple dozen bots wearing an attachement a quickfix would be to hit: "ctrl alt shift =" to disable the particle effects for less visual lag and to ar the box spamming it grid will allways be under attack and i even know of a simple way to make it crawl the entire mainland and "walk" around restricted land, still pritty stunned it hasn`t been executed like that yet and just some stupid particle spammers so far with nub lsl scipts |

am i the only one who thinks cutting live help out altogether was a bad idea? We need a live help system that isn't for answering noob questions, thats what mentors are for. In stead we need one for attacks and grid problems so people can get immediate help.

I even bumped into Philip linden once and we exchanged hellos, well, I guess I should have asked for an autograph instead..... It would be nice to see a linden here and there and to know there alive and well and that they know we are alive and well or at least find out why not. If every linden spent a few short hours a week, just making a presence and talking to the residents, it would do a world of good for their image, both in world and out. I would even say its mission critical that lindens make a presents Inworld Sure it’s the wild, Wild West, but we don’t even have any territory Marshalls, I’m definitely not asking for police, but at least some presents. Bottom line….. --- I miss seeing Lindens online --- _____________________

That very well might be the case, but that was not what live help turned into. It had become unmanageable. There was no way to keep up with the calls that were coming in when LH closed. Hence the new support system. It at least makes it more manageable.
Speaking of which, you said you have been ARing for over a month now, have you tried going through the support portal? If you are Premium (or a Lifer) you can goto Live Chat, m-f 9-6ish, or not, you can always file a ticket about it. _____________________

thanks for nothing... i have auto-return on, doesn't matter, particles go wherever they want. More importantly I make my SL living with particles in my builds. I do not want to turn them of on my land - thanks very much again... por nada! wth is ur problem? i tried to give a decent feedback that even with auto return set it was still open for an attack also said that disabling particles is a quick fix so u don`t get lagged to hell and back a couple of times in a row, solution? no, if under attack nway then something good to do? yes would live help solved it any faster? i doubt it as they would have been spammed from how to change a diper to some one`s cat making to much noise and most likely a mass spam of how they .... non stop, go to concierge live chat or get some 1 to do it for u as u`ve been here so long and from several issues, they were all on it right away (even the untouchable guy linden twice) and where i reported an sim attack to be solved within 2 minutes of being removed and the person banned am i the only one who thinks cutting live help out altogether was a bad idea? We need a live help system that isn't for answering noob questions, thats what mentors are for.
