Because Linden Labs can prevent you from logging on for ANY reason they want so actually by definition, you have no "right" to access the service and would be unable to argue you had one in court.

I was reading the Terms of Service because I was bored and I found this:

Linden Lab cannot absolutely control whether minors gain access to the Service other than the Teen Area, and makes no representation that users outside the Teen Area are mon minors. Linden Lab cannot absolutely control whether adults gain access to the Teen Area of the Service, and makes no representation that users inside the Teen Area are not adults. Adult employees, contractors and partners of Linden Lab regularly conduct their work in the Teen Area. Linden Lab cannot ensure that other users will not provide Content or access to Content that parents or guardians may find inappropiate or that any user may find objectionable.

This wonderfull little paragraph, mainly the last sentence, is a disclaimer showing that LL cannot be held liable for a kid having access to anything of a sexuall nature. Happy now?

I know, it really annoys me too. You can guarantee that if there is any thread critical of the Lindens, sooner or later someone will post that it's a privilege to be here, and that the Lindens are entitled to do what they like.

Yes, they are. The problem is most threads of this kind are not about the legalities, but about what the Lindens should do.

I have never experienced a griefer in a furry avie - usually in human form or like a deformed hideous looking human avie. I have been in SL over a year and my friend owns one of the most popular clubs which has seen a fair amount of griefers over the past year. Well known fact? I dont think so. The thing is your griefer groups like W-hat, for the most part, hate furries. Look at the Something Awful forums if you dont believe me. Furry sims are actually griefed quite a bit for being furry.

I'm sure you meant no harm, but your simply misinformed or making an assumption based on your experience and stating it as a well known fact. This kind of generalization just breeds stereotyping.

Griefers come in all shapes and sizes. period.

I respect LL for making SL, but I Blame LL for the mess ups and changes that make SL sucky.. lag,open reg., showing if or if not a credit card or paypal account was used :/

one its going to turn around and makes everyone happy or everyone that can't take it is going to leave and SL is going to lose residents...

ok i see its a language thing because i swear when i reread my posts i see one word i use consistantly and its the word "USE".

i never implied that ALL furries = griefers as some wish to make it out to be, its is a fact and my experiance that when some Gor sims are attacked furry avas are "USED"

now again take it as you wish. i refuse to justify, rectify or do any other fying anymore.

had to add this was reminded and before anyone asks: how they get onto the sim before anyone asks is a griefer comes onto the sim in human form under the pretext of OBSERVER: he or she then goes to a place on the sim (in one it was the tavern) and teleports them in the players or "guards" then spend and waste time ejecting them meanwhile the chief griefer has either disappeared or has changed avas to only do it again.
