I guess I hurt Torley's feelings

Torley,

Gee, I guess what you see as a rant, I see as a legitimate grevience. For many weekends we have suffered through SL being down and yet all we get are glib answers coming from you. I much prefer Robin answering our questions because she takes the time to explain and is actually nice about it.

Being callous is NEVER good customer service and that is what your insipid answer was. I made a point and it hit in the jugular. Too bad, really. Everyone knows that SL staff is light this weekend. Everyone knows that we just had a monsterous update that we are all dealing with the affects of and everyone knows its the perfect time for some idiot with nothing else to do to attack the grid.

I pay US$204.95 a month to play this game and I expect better from the staff, Torley, especially those who play at answering our questions. Suspend me if you wish, but it will only show that you don't really care about us.

Sincerely,

Timmy Night

Please don't post rants--they're unwelcome here because the negativity doesn't do good for anyone.

Hi again Timmy--I apologize if that came off the wrong way to you.

However, while there are certainly valid complaints--some of which I have myself!--it just isn't productive to declare anything or anyone as "idiotic", nor does it do good to egg me on to suspend you, for example. What does that achieve? Nothing.

I suggest working together in a friendly way is best.

I do aspire to be more like Robin; please also read what she posted as How to Use This Forum, specificially:

I've already let you know that we're monitoring the difficulties with logging in at present--I have been repeatedly testing myself. As of the latest, 4:44 PM SLT, I was able to get in fine.

In case "the presence bug" is sticking you, I'll ask that be looked at.

Appears there were hiccups earlier but stay in the queue and you should be able to get in, like I posted here:Historically, I have replied to you on past occasions in SL Answers with the following:I'm sorry if I can't be of more help. :(
