Thanks, Fade. The Linden and Lindex are hot topics and seem to be the main issue discussed on this forum lately.

To everyone else, if you have not yet cast your vote, please do so!

In an attempt to give our friends across the lake a chance to chime in, I'm bumping this back to the top since most people only read the top 6-10 threads.

As it currently stands, 74% of voters want a change to the structure of the Land and the Economy forum.

Add our vote now!

Good idea. Let's create a subforum for those that hate the SL economy and business people as well.

Are there any worthwhile threads in the Land and Economy Forum anymore? It's all finger pointing and reruns of reruns of reruns...

Thanks for the topic, Bloop. I also voted for a change because I only read the L$ topics for a laugh.

I had created a topic about water and waterways that scrolled off page one in the matter of minutes, Maybe in the end no one wants to talk land issues such as transportation design, protected areas, creating sim advocate societies that work together to promote each parcel in the same sim, park services, volunteer goups to spice up the landcsape... you get the idea.

So yes, please, put the "economists" off in their own corner so we can talk about all this wonderful space we have to develop and create in.

Okay, it's time to give our friends across the pond a chance to have their voices heard! The poll results have not changed from my previous post.

What has changed is the sentiment within the Land and Economy forum. Actually, it has not changed as much as gotten worse. I believe we need to separate out the discussions of the Linden and Lindex from all other land and economy issues. It may help others get a word in edgewise.

If you have not voted yet, please do so.

This poll will officially end on 06-02-2006 at 05:01 PM.

There are roughly four days left in this poll. It will officially close on 06-02-2006 at 05:01 PM.

My 2 cents. This forum has a few good topics, but it only took 3 days to initally read all of the various threads about the lindex falling, dwell and stipend being the reasons, and blah blah blah. Since then, I ignore those topics because nothing new is being discussed and just a lot of bi*ching.

I've had my account for about a year, but I only recently really started playing. So now I'm at a point where I'm comfortable enough with SL that I am trying to start my own business in-world. (Shameless self plug /invalid_link.html ). I honestly would love to just have a single forum devoted to business questions. No discussions about the Lindex falling, or day trading, or any of that.

Just a forum where business owners and new entrepreneurs have a place to talk about business issues, such as how to advertise, get customers, buying trends, and more. The things that actually relate to the every day running of a business in Second Life.

Thanks for your comments, Geuis! I agree completely.

By the way, I have no problem with you plugging your business. I checked out your thread and visited some of your RW websites. I found them very interesting.

I will contact you either in world or email to discuss some possible projects. It will be in a couple of weeks.
