Stipend Burning Party

Well it's tuesday again. So I'll be having another burning party at 6:00 at Extreme to try and help the economy out. I'll burn my stipend. Come burn yours with me and anyone else interested in trying to put a tiny dent in the L's they dumped into the economy today.

I'll have a box selling the Burning Iris and you can buy one, rez it, inspect the code and burn to your own ball ... or burn to mine. I can't put mine for sale as there is a bug that when ever anyone buys a copy of an object the ORIGINAL loses money permissions. So if ya don't trust my ball you can buy one from the vendor I'll have out (price is 0) and burn them into your own ball. (Although I am trustworthy =c) )

It's funny you know, all the people in this forum screaming about ending stipends and volinteering to give thiers up. But hardly anyone shows up to burn thier stipends with me on Tuesdays?

Hunter if you do send them please IM me that you did along with date and time as my money alerts are turned off and I wouldn't know otherwise. I would announce I was burning your stipend as I burnt them. I would however much rather you attended as it's a lot of fun ... we cheer each other on ... or you can even go to Extreme and purchase a Burning Iris ball for free and you can burn into that at any time from anywhere outside scripts are turned on.

Outside scripts are turned off in Extreme because of griefers ... so you'd have to take it to your land or somewhere else. I do turn them on during the party so people can pull out thier own balls if they like. The script inside it is mod so you can inspect it.

There is also a Buring Iris ball actively running on Extreme's floor at all times. We burn to it all the time =c) ... so you could burn to that any time.

Another thing you can do is just pay Iris Linden directly (not as much fun but just as effective). Money paid to Iris Linden will never be injected back into the economy (and supposedly money paid to any Linden) as promised by the Lindens at this thread:

I think Iris Linden is a non person avatar they set up for a camera or something sooooo she is a cool one to burn to.

But really come burn them with us it's a lot of fun!
