How Can I Burn Money?

I would like a way to send L dollars into a void. Burn them. Such that they are never re-intorduced into the economy again.

Two ideas I have come up with are paying either Governor Linden or paying Philip Linden.

So here is the question, would monies paid to one or the other or both be guaranteed to never be re-circulated? And if not can I have the UUID of a character which I could pay such that the monies would go bye bye ... forever?

And if not, is there any other way?

Can I just pay a bogus UUID? etc ...
