From: Nepenthes Ixchel Your name is Tiger. Ergo, you are furry. Q.E.D. Your name is Nepenthes. Ergo, you are a carnivorous plant. Q.E.D. Doen't quite work, does it? Oh, and I'm STILL waiting for that hardcore drop.... :edit: I could have mentioned how your last name makes you the Mayan earth and moon goddess and patroness of pregnant women....

From: Tiger Zobel Oh, and I'm STILL waiting for that hardcore drop.... The only drop I am waiting for... is the removal of individuals who attempt to incite market chaos through alarmist/extremist forum threads. It's one thing to express concerns and seek answers... it's another thing entirely to post threads to inspire panic which could result in the loss of funds for others. That's not freedom of speech, in my opinion, that's an attack on the grid.

From: Svar Beckersted Rasah, I never saw any L$349/1 sales. Did you buy at L$349/1 today? I bought at $348, and it was almost gone after mine got filled (I think there was about $20k after me). So I assumed that probably got picked up in the hour or so after I left the market and went home from work. Guess not, and guess I aimed it just right

You know what's funny, all that has to happen is a serious electrical zap in the servers and lots of people would have no income.....or just pull a plug and walk away....and poof...no money, no proof that money's owed..no nothing (if you fry the servers)...just a big loss....
That's a brilliant investment....

wow what panic mongering this person loves to throw out. MY words of advice DONT LISTEN TO JAMIE BERGMAN, and the economy will fix itself.
For someone who loves to sell freebies and rip off people and is a self-proclaimed "leader" in SL, she sure knows nothing about the economy.
Why are you wasting your time bickering in SL about the virtual economy if you got all those "oil stocks"...
trust me , dont listen , or believe anything this one says. Its a waste of your and SL's time.

That's a brilliant investment.... The not-so-funny thing is that if your bank where you keep your RL money at didn't have a backup, the same thing could happen to you iRL. Your bank doesn't store your money in the form of colorfull papers, they store it in the form of 0's and 1's that shows how much you're supposed to own. Heck, if someone set off a large enough EMP bomb in downtown New York, we'd ALL be screwed. (for a while, anyway. As far as I have heard, digital bank money is on a redundant system all over USA, so if one goes down, others can be used in place for a while.)

That when an bank branch overseas wants to send cash to the main bank HQ, they would make do it electronically. IE I've just deposited £10 million into the HQ account. And then once done they would then burn the actual money, incinerating it. Don't think its true due to laws surrounding defacing currency. But amusing thought nevertheless.

Don't think its true due to laws surrounding defacing currency. But amusing thought nevertheless. Don't know if it's true, but I could see how it's possible, considering if the HQ bank is in, say, USA, they can give the "money" then have in the account to the government, and the government can just give them newly printed paper. Only issue is if you transfer money into another bank, tell them you're burning the money, but are actually just pocketing it for other means. Guess this'll be something to look up

Mistakes eh?
"Much" refers to amount. "Many" refers to number. You mean "too many mistakes".
Musuko. Why don't you take a look at the location beside that post? Not everyone speaks english as a first language.

That's a brilliant investment.... Excell spreadsheet and ... From: someone Transaction History Back to Your Account
The following list shows up to 500 most recent transactions for Jun 18, 2006. For a complete list of transactions on this day, download an XLSfile for Jun 18, 2006. Always keep a running backup with any business SL or RL. Issue solved. And as for Jamie.... he incites to feel powerful, he asks to be mocked because he thrives on even the most negative attention. Everything he says is, is a fabrication and he denies what he truly is, even when you show the proof. He is an unamusing troll and best ignored.
