Tomorrow is Welfare Tuesday. If you have any L$s in your account right now, it is best to sell them NOW because the L$ is going to drop hardcore tomorrow (historically) because LL is going to print up L$60,000,000 of new cash and throw it in the economy.
You can buy them back on Wednesday at a much lower cost.
This has been a public service announcement.

Yeah... Pity it's only L$13M each week. From: someone You can buy them back on Wednesday at a much lower cost. And the fact that the value bounces back to pre-stipend values by wednesday pm shows that you can't... From: someone This has been a panic the residents into selling L$ announcement. Fixed it for you....

Yes, the $13m figure is correct. My mistake.
But mark my words, the value of the L$ will go down tomorrow.

Public service message: Ignore the troll.
The economy is doing fine for the vast majority of the Second Life population. The only people who may be losing out right now are the few who make a real living off of the computer game that we enjoy.
We play for the good of the many. They only have their own interests in mind.
You know it makes sense.

This has been a public service announcement. Doing JUST that. Sell $L for $328 today, then put a buy order for all the money at $350 tomorrow, expect it to BOUNCE right into the $350 range to buy a crapload more $L, and wait for the already increased amount of $L to raise even more inv alue as the $L goes back to $328 to $330 on Wednesday. Yup, money is a lot more fun if you know economics and markets.

Nah, just the stipend inflow itself might not be enough to drop the exchange rate down enough for enough profit anymore. You need to whip people up in the selling panic at least a day earlier, to scare these who will be selling tomorrow into dropping their prices further down that they'd normally do: THE WELFARE TUESDAY IS COMING!! YOU MAY LOSE YOUR MONEY WORTH IF YOU DON"T ACT!! SELL SELL SELL!!! ... see, there you go. probably good to name it 'public announcement' so it doesn't look so obvi- oh, wait.

I still think it's amusing that some people believe that the few people who post to and read the Land and Economy forums actually affect what happens on Lindex. I mean, come on, we got about 2,500 transactions daily, and about 20 TOPS people posting to this forum. How many of those 2,500 or so actually go on this forum, actually read the threads, actually understand what's going on, OR are too stupid to understand how markets work, and actually listen to the "SELL SELL SELL" scares? Besides, if it's people who have little $L, their tin $10k to $20k won't have any affect on the $10,000k market. Those who do sell upwards of $100k are smart enough to know that the SELL SELL SELL crowds are idiots I'm sure.

"Too bad you commit too much mistakes.."
Mistakes eh?
"Much" refers to amount. "Many" refers to number. You mean "too many mistakes".

This has nothing to do with affecting the market at all - it all has to do with Jamie boosting his already inflated ego and attempting to get one or two people who don't know him for what he is to actually listen to him. If one person listens to his carp then it makes his day and he feels a little more self important ( if that is possible ).

Think the terms is ramping or deramping and people who do it are rampers or derampers.

Easy, Jamie. The market is volatile enough for us day traders to make some profit. No need to make some newbies nervous. The market average is pretty stable right now and it should stay that way.

why should they sell NOW if they don't need the money now. sure the Linden will drop slightly tomorrow but first it will probably only hit 336 or 337 for sell orders and the 350 range for buy orders. And on wed will drop back down to the 230 -225 range. so please stop trying to scare people in to selling.
The main reason for the drop on Tuesdays as i have noticed since I started buying L$. on Tuesday there are many that just log in to sell there 500 L$. I have seen many 500 L$ transactions as i watched as the system buy lindens for me on Tuesdays.
