I find it interesting that because I reject scientifically unsound hypotheses such as youirs, Mulch, that I sudddenly become some sort of patriarchal oppressor. Thankfully, both you and Dianne responded in a way which just emphasizes my point. To people like you, it isn't about what the individual did wrong. It's about how society can be blamed for it. That's not a productive modus, and I think we should do more to combat it. You can heal the individual. You can't heal society.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. And I think her response was perfect. When you start your 1st sentence with "Wanker" you diminish the rest of your arguement. "You have to understand that many people are not ready to be unplugged, and many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it." Balancing social, scientific, and political needs (among MANY others) can be a tricky task. You are too quick to dispose that which you don't understand. This balance act is far more complicated than LLs job to balance the content providers, land barons, and resident needs. That being said is blaming society doesn't excuse that tools action. He was a tool who did a tool thing, nobody forced him. _____________________

But it's all bullshit, as your own conclusion reveals. You claim quite definitively that I'm a conservative, but it's a claim which is demonstrably untrue. As for my anger: I don't particularly enjoy to be psychoanalyzed by an amateur nor do I particularly enjoy being pigeonholed as a "conservative" as if that should somehow explain why I feel the way I do. How about I "delve" into your psyche? Why don't you do something productive with your life? Why do you turn everything into a game of politicis? Is it because your own life is so devoid of meaning? Do you turn to politics as a way of transferring your own frustration onto the world? Is it easier for you to solve the problems of others than it is for you to sit down and fix your own life? Do male avatars usually lurk at Ginko Island for female avatars to grind up against? Does the Ginko group approve of such behavior (one such avatar there was a Ginko employee)? Sorry to hear about the sucky experience. Last time I was there, thankfully this wasn't the case because Ginko is a freewheeling, frolicking island. Sadly, a jerk can show up just about anywhere. (I've seen some on Taco, Midnight Island, and other cool locations in SL.) Ginko group are a diverse group that encompass many interests and I've never known them to be tolerant towards intolerance, and you'd best ask them for their official stance. _____________________

Anyone should be able to wear whatever they want as long as it stands within the guidlines of the CS and TOS.
That being said, in my opinion, it is a little risque, but it's not like nothing like that is ever seen in SL. In a virtual world where clothes look painted on by default... it's harder to *not* have risque looking clothes (look at all the fashion that's out there). Regardless, none of it warrents name calling. _____________________

I went to Ginko Island tonight (wearing a cute ump outfit made by Jade Jensen) to get some money, and shortly after I landed, a nude avatar with a large "package" attached came up to me and was grinding up against me. There were about seven male avatars sitting and standing around in this area. I walked off a short distance, and one of them called me a "referee slut." I gave him a negative rating and left. Hmph. If Katt were a slut (and she's not) I'd be proud of the fact that she is my slut. As it is, I'm planning to find out who this guy was (she's such a sweetheart that she probably will not tell me) and hand him his gonads on a stick. P2 _____________________

But the fact that I was at a banking facility, minding my own business, when two male avatars decided to sexually harass me has me a bit bewildered. What do you think? I think the outfit is cute tbh. There is no excuse to be talked to that way by anyone anywhere except in certain areas where ppl know that before going there. A um sexual type party by invite if you know what i mean. That guy is an asshole plan and simple. As for the strap on I usualy ask them guys if they forgot the horses head that is suppose to go with that "thing" lol.
