Elitist forum rats who have assigned themselves as unofficial forum monitors, jumping at every chance to impose how the forums should be run onto others. See this is exactly the kind of post and poster that gives these forums the unfriendly atmosphere that permeates them today like the unholy stench of putrid entrails spewing from some split open disease ridden dead rat in a downtown alleyway. I propose we ban troublemakers like this and all will be at peace in the world  _____________________

Mean stuff.
Crappy writing (not English as a Second Language issues, poorly thought out, run-on sentences with dangling particples and stuff we're not supposed to do).  Your instead of you're effect affect then than Being too sensitive when someone's just being silly.  Threads that aren't tittillating.  30 second delay on postings (really breaks my tempo when "working over" Liona and Billy et al in the word game threads). "I'm leaving SL because of XYZ" threads by folks that really don't go.  Folks that seem to miss the point that SL is many things to many people but not the same thing to everyone and that is OK, allowed, permitted, expected, and planned for, as Philip! There are too many threads that lack any reference at all to fecundity.  _____________________

Folks that use "bang on" while railing against all possible fun, where fun = innuendo of the propogatory type, esp. obtuse, obscure and vaguely scholarly references.
Scholarly? You'd have to have been there when I saw the film "Fecundation", it was an illuminating, educational experience. And no it wasn't just because of the killer buzz I had running due to my instructor's stash. Nor the beers. How does a thread like this provide anything positive or constructive for SL? Answer: Any system needs to be analyzed for flaws to improve it. By pointing out where we are still having problems in the forums, we can better understand: (a) The effect that changes to forum policies have made (b) Any issues that still need to be addressed (c) Issues that, by thier nature, can not be addressed The alternative - whistling dixie and assuming everything will always be okay - is obviously insufficient for a dynamic system such as this forum. (d) Buy my katanas. _____________________
