Very respectful. You did not know Eboni was black, that is what made the whole thing so hilarious - don't now pretend that you did - you even used apparently earlier in this thread. It is very clear who is a racist - it would be you. You posted a picture to represent her as knocked up barefoot pushing around interracial babies, with the title redneck above it - which is a synonym slur for white trash. Don't pretend it is not, or that you are being humorous. The only humor was your cluelessness.

Your explanation of the Hummer picture was exactly what I thought. You can't show in any way that it is homophobic - it is the woman's last name. BTW, wouldn't you be doing something homophobic driving a Hummer by your own logic? Or lack thereof?

I took a screen shot of your racist attack so you couldn't edit away the evidence of it. You are a thief for stealing the image in the first place. You can't steal something and then cry foul when it is copied. Then I forget, it's fine for you to do something, just not anybody else. Checkmate.

Any graphic on that page that I personaly made is my property. This person had to right to steal my graphics and upload them to the sluniverse.com web.

I made the top banner, I made the image map.

The Metaverse: is a phrase coined by Neal Stephenson's science fiction novel Snow Crash (1992) constitutes Stephenson's vision of how a virtual reality-based Internet might evolve in the near future. In the Metaverse, status is a function of two things: access to restricted environments (such as the Black Sun, an exclusive Metaverse club) and technical acumen (often demonstrated by the sophistication of one's avatar). The Metaverse is frequented mainly by the upper and middle classes.

I'll have to read this book in full. I first came across the "Snow Crash" idea in TSO where someone made a lot called "Black Sun". Then fed me URLs with excerpts and talked to me about these ideas. They sounded stupid, I wasn't interested. They sounded like some half-backed crappy sci-fi thing.

I figured that even though the term was coined there, that it had evolved to mean something different, something bigger, something, well "meta" -- "across" or "above" etc.

What you describe is in fact the thing I'd call the Fetavase. So I'm thinking actually rather than advocate some bigger, broader, more accessible and democratic Metaverse we have to use the term Metaverse to mean the exclusive tekkie world and then think up a new term for the better thingie. Maybe Perverse or Diaverse.
