Back in MY day SL was done entirely by postal-service. Lag meant the mailman was late delivering your package of SL screenshots. At least you had mail service, we had to use carrier pigeons and smoke signals. Lag was the bird never showing up, and downtime was when it would rain on your smoke signals. _____________________
