How do you define LOVE?

I hate the word..

I love LOVE!! heh as long as you can find someone who makes you happy...makes you smile...cheers you up when ur down...thats enough love for me....also..the one man ur meant to be with wont make you cry...
Why i love my hubby...
-puts up with me..
-loves me
-gives me all the attention in the worrlddd ROFL
-makes me smile if RL makes me upset
-we have alot in common
annnnd much much more

Do you think love is always plus SEX or could be LOVE without sex too?

Love can be with or without it really...depends on who you "love"..you still love ur partner if they wanna wait til marriage for sex...but u can also still love them if they do want to have sex... >.<

You asked how to define love ... Well, I don't define it here on SL, as I have the love of my life already in RL and do not need another one .... I CAN however define love in RL....it's that feeling you get with that certain person and the whole world stops when you're with them; it's that connection between two people that can't be explained; being able to lean on each other in times of need; being able to share laughs as well as tears; and above all else, it is the knowledge that you can give your whole self to that person, be naked essentially and trust them with that nakedness....

There, I think that is the definition you were looking for

the love i know and feel is between me and my partner...and the love from my family and friends....thats about it >.<

I define love not as something that happens to you but as something you do. I think the way love is portrayed in popular culture as effortless and magical where you just look at someone across a crowded room and then live happily ever after is far more damaging to society than violence in media. People grow up believing that if love isn't effortless and easy then there's something missing and they give up on their relationship and move on. Love isn't an involuntary response... that's infatuation and lust and it fades in time. Love is a choice. At least that's how I see it

Love is caring enough about someone that your only desire is to see that person (or whatever) flousrish and grow - whether or not he/she cares for you in the same way...although that WOULD be nice!

I define love as being the worst thing that is ever been given a name by humans. I puke on it, hate to see people in love and hope that it'll be banned someday. I hope that everybody who is in love dies a horrible death.
